@all : The https://summit.geonode.org site was updated:
Registration is open, Call for Presentation / Workshops is open, 3 new Blogposts highlighting these and more informations about accommodations, very minor schedule update (4th day for The Future of GeoNode).
We had to abandon google forms for submissions, since it is not GFDR friendly - we switched to our own nextCloud instance instead.

Further, thanks a lot for updating the docs regarding craft-beer and your profound planning ;)
One question: Are workshops planned as presentations? Like last year in Viareggio (Alessio is explaining how to install geonode. The audience is listening)? Or more like in Turino: The participants repeat what is shown on their own laptops? Personally, for my planned submission, I would welcome the former.
For me workshops should really be a hands on experience with others following some kind of tutorial text - like http://geonode.org/dev-workshop/#/
You can hold a presentation about developing where the audience is 'just' listening though
by the way, we are working on improving a bit the development section of the official docs, see the proposed "TOC" from here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oXoRyCqtTHCclCO1ed5PfWiW_skafGU2i5w-BNWRT4s/edit?usp=sharing
We could test those as workshops and refine them with the feedback we get
And yeah hopefully it's going to be international. Africa, India, etc.
