    Or maybe not
    I don't know, I need to think about that
    Luis Pulido
    @nosmirck
    no no no, it's fine, you don't need to do that automatically
    I can upload the image to the channel before creating the initial message
    it's totally fine
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    but in this way you don't have the circular indicator
    let's keep it as it is
    Luis Pulido
    @nosmirck
    it's ok, I'm not looking at the channel yet at the moment of sending the message
    and as soon as I send the message, the app goes back to whatever it was doing
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    we'll refactor it later on, while adding the progress indicator
    Luis Pulido
    @nosmirck
    checkout something like whatsapp, the app opens within the app that is sharing
    you select the channels that you want to share the content with
    and after sending (after passing the editor, because wahtsapp has an editor that we don't need) it just closes and goes back to the app that opened the share intent
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    ok then, for now it's good
    :point_up: April 23, 2020 5:31 PM
    By the way, the second point should be done, for the first I'll wait your pr
    Luis Pulido
    @nosmirck
    if in the middle of the share, you see the task manager, you'll see whatsapp opened twice
    yes, let me finish it
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    yep
    the custom attachment rendering is only in the alpha version, too much refactoring to merge it to stable now
    Luis Pulido
    @nosmirck
    it's ok, I will branch our project and start with alpha this afternoon
    if it's good enough for tomorrow's demo, we'll use it, otherwise, it's good with what we have so far
    Isaiah Taylor
    @isaiahtaylor
    Good morning gentlemen. It's been a few weeks since I've popped in to see how you're doing. We ended up having to launch our Beta without chat because we couldn't get notifications to work. I'm wondering if any progress has been made on that front?
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    Hello @isaiahtaylor, Sorry but apparently gitter notifications are not working as well
    Do you still have the same problem?
    Bahri Rizaldi
    @brizaldi
    Hello guys, i got this error after implementing push notification on iOS from this link https://getstream.io/chat/docs/push/?language=dart
    /Applications/development/mobile/projects/homy-app-dev/ios/Notifications/NotificationService.swift:10:8: error: no such module 'StreamChatClient'
    import StreamChatClient

    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    hey @brizaldi , let me take a look at it
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    did you follow every step?
    it looks like the project does not find the StreamChatClient library
    Did you add it in the podfile?
    Bahri Rizaldi
    @brizaldi
    i add it like this:
    pod 'Flutter', :path => 'Flutter'
    pod 'StreamChatClient', :git => 'https://github.com/GetStream/stream-chat-swift.git'
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    I think pod 'StreamChatClient' is enough
    try to pod install then

    Add App Groups capability to the Runner target and the just created one and create one common group
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    yes, perfect

    error from NotificationService.swift
    even though i already call pod install
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    mh, I think that's a problem with dependencies
    I'm trying to build another example project just for trying this
    can you try to remove the Pods/ folder and the Podfile.lock and rerun pod install?
    Bahri Rizaldi
    @brizaldi
    still got the error message
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    I'll reach out the ios team to ask if they have any idea :/
    Bahri Rizaldi
    @brizaldi

    I'll reach out the ios team to ask if they have any idea :/

    sorry if im being a bother :D

    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    no worries :)
    Salvatore Giordano
    @imtoori
    hey, the suggestion is to
    • close xcode
    • repeat all the process of deleting files
    • run pod install
    • reopen the new workspace file
