    +++ there is the possiblity of creating another super-cool demo based on an RDF vocabulary I created. If you have full-stack skills, that would be a great project to follow +++
    Nityananda Gohain
    @nityanandagohain
    Interested how to proceed
    Lorenzo
    @Mec-iS
    @nityanandagohain you are already following a issue and getting familiar with the starting material. Take some time to study RDF and Hydra. In March, you can start writing the application on any project you want (up to 3).

    @nityanandagohain
    ok thanks !

    @Mec-iS what all features are expected from 2.1 , if you could elaborate on features and requirements from the demo it would be great and help me write a proposal , i have looked into the vocab and tried using hydrus with it , but i need to know the features so that i can plan a better time line .

    @Mec-iS
    API should be working and any kind of visualization using a Web UI would be fine. The demos require knowledge of javascript.

    @yashLadha
    How can i post data and view data from the api
    ??
    Akshay Dahiya
    @xadahiya
    You can post the data using curl or any other similar tool.
    Data can be viewed in the browser.
    Lorenzo
    @Mec-iS
    At the moment you have to use the PUT method to store data in endpoints and then GET it to fetch.
    @xadahiya is there in flock-demo a script that loads the data in the db?
    Akshay Dahiya
    @xadahiya
    I don't think there is any predefined data except for the Central Controller location. All data is generated on the fly and sent to respective components. See https://github.com/HTTP-APIs/hydra-flock-drone/blob/master/flock_drone/mechanics/simulate.py
    Lorenzo
    @Mec-iS
    I meant the initialization of drones instances
    Akshay Dahiya
    @xadahiya
    Yeah, so we use settings defined in settings.py (in hydra-flock-drone repo) and then user drone_init.py to register each drone to the central controller. https://github.com/HTTP-APIs/hydra-flock-drone/blob/master/flock_drone/mechanics/drone_init.py

    @xadahiya how i authenticate into the system? I Wasn't able to login into it.
    Akshay Dahiya
    @xadahiya
    Why do you need to login?

    @Mec-iS @xadahiya @chrizandr i wanted to know why was spacecraft demo not created as mentioned here as i would like to prepare for the problems that you possibly faced while creating 2.1
    Chris Andrew
    @chrizandr
    There were no problems as such, by the time we were done with the base for hydrus, we had only a month or so left. The spacecraft vocabulary is huge and it would take a lot of time to design an API and create the documentation for it, so we went ahead with a simpler flock-demo
    Vaibhav Chellani
    @vaibhavchellani
    @chrizandr yes i know i went through the huge vocab , i want to submit a proposal on this demo but because it is huge i was thinking should i just target a small part of it or should i make a plan for the whole thing . can you advise ?
    Lorenzo
    @Mec-iS
    @IamRaviTejaG I created a repo and gave you admin rights on a repository where you can develop your demo: https://github.com/HTTP-APIs/hydra-crypto-demo
    Lorenzo
    @Mec-iS
    @vaibhavchellani sorry for the delay, I created that vocabulary. You can try starting with the Solar System one (the one that describes the planets and solar system, it is a quite small dataset) https://github.com/chronos-pramantha/RDFvocab/blob/master/ld%2Bjson/SolarSystem.json
    References are mostly to DBpedia
    Unfortunately the server that was publishing the resources is not up anymore i.e. "http://ontology.projectchronos.eu/solarsystem/Mercury" is not working, but if you set up your own server i can make the domain to point there.

    getting the following error on running the hydra-flock demo's init.sh

    @Mec-iS
    it seems like the default location is picking from a string instead of a dictionary. You can open a github issue in the repository and also propose a fix in a pull request

    @aribalam
    I will look for possible fix of the issue. Will open a new issue in the repo if no immediate solution is found.
    Akshay Dahiya
    @xadahiya
    Looks like the central controller failed to start due to some reason. Could you share the bootstrap script logs?
    Also, the default location fallback in case the central controller fails might be outdated. As @Mec-iS try to find what the problem is and propose a solution. It'll help you understand the project better as well.

    @aribalam
    The following are the bootstrap script logs.

    It executed correctly with no issues. I will try to find a solution as soon as possible.
