but can we redirect it?
as in have the github page simply redirect to our own server?
so we're not really using the github page at all, we're just using the free domain name and hosting the actual web app on our own hardware. I don't know if this is possible, but it's something to look in to

@emmettu that would be really cool. Hopefully not too much of a security risk if hosting on our Red Hat machines.

@Ian-Stewart-Binks to be totally honest I don't know enough about databases to be able contribute a recommendation
I've heard postgres is better for one reason or another though
there's also sqlite which I've heard is very good for small projects
