These binaries (https://github.com/emileb/OpenSSL-for-Android-Prebuilt.git) apparently work with Indy on Android 6 on some devices (see this discussion: https://forums.embarcadero.com/thread.jspa?threadID=211089). I haven't tried them myself yet, but apparently the .so files work (but Google flags them with a security warning because they are not up-to-date). The .a files have not been tried with Delphi yet.

Remy how busy are the Indy PHPBB forums? PHP has been a huge sore for us and now its crashed and powered down our server almost 10 times today. I need to disable it if we can get it back online long enough.

@davidpn The following forum discussion (in German) provides OpenSSL binaries for Android (and iOS Simulator) that use OpenSSL 1.0.2g and thus do not display the security warning in the Google Play store: http://www.delphipraxis.net/188736-kompilierte-openssl-bibliotheken-fuer-android.html
@davidpn nevermind, you have to be a registered user to reach the downloads :-1:

we're working on it but we are at teh mercy of the data center right now and the are giving us some crdap about how their system rarely fails.... bla bla bla.. but right now we cant even power teh damn thing on so i dont know how they think something we did in a windows VM is stopping it from powering on!
