I'm attempting to set up a PostFix server so I can use it to send test emails through.. According to the PostFix config, it does not require SASL, however using satDefault on TIdSMTP isn't working because apparently it doesn't have AUTH in the capabailities

@DelphiWorlds satDefault uses the AUTH LOGIN SASL command. Some SMTP servers support LOGIN even if they don't always advertise it. You can set TIdSMTP.ValidateAuthLoginCapability=False to bypass the capabilities check when using satDefault. If you use satSASL instead, ValidateAuthLoginCapability is ignored and the capability must be advertised.

That should have been obvious to me.. ok.. progressed a bit further now.. it's reporting that authentication isn't enabled.. checking..

@DelphiWorlds was the problem that you couldn't get TIdSMTP to work with any of PostFix's authentications, or that you couldn't figure out how to disable authentication?
