Do distincts not work on linked attributes?
<fetch distinct="true" >
<entity name="allgnt_job" >
<filter>
<condition attribute="createdon" operator="last-x-months" value="12" />
</filter>
<link-entity name="dfnd_timeslot" from="dfnd_timeslotid" to="dfnd_timeslotid" link-type="inner" >
<attribute name="dfnd_tblreftimeslot_timeslotid" alias="TimeSlotCount" />
</link-entity>
</entity>
</fetch>

nop
had the same problem some times ago
(AFAIK)

@daryllabar
Flipping my query so the TimeSlot was the primary worked...
so, I'll agree with you @MscrmTools
Now stop talking to me and correcting my blogs, and pointing out that TipOfTheDay already has my lack of knowledge covered, and go an enjoy your Friday!
MscrmTools
@MscrmTools
still working by now :) but I will go to the haircut in few minutes to look good in Lisbon :D

Hello everyone

@rappen
Have you found this menu?
Syed Sajid Hussain
@SyedSajid08_twitter
oh...great...didn't look there
thanks alot!
can't beleive will get a response on a sunday, you guys rock!
Jonas Rapp
@rappen
Happy FetchXML'ing!
I can believe you work with FetchXML Builder on a Sunday - it is just so fun :p
Syed Sajid Hussain
@SyedSajid08_twitter
yes I did find it thanks!
but couple of issues I found when I tried to run that code
when calling the AddLink, I think it's adding the fields in wrong order
like i had to change this
var qe_salesorder = qe.AddLink("salesorder", "customerid", "contactid", JoinOperator.LeftOuter);
to this
var qe_salesorder = qe.AddLink("salesorder", "contactid", "customerid", JoinOperator.LeftOuter);
and then it worked fine
not sure if this is a bug...or something I am missing
Jonas Rapp
@rappen
Known issue, that sometimes occur... :( #105

What information do you collect, how do you collected it, and what do you plan on doing with it? I'm asking for a "friend" ;)
Jonas Rapp
@rappen
Are you talking about the "Statistics" that I humbly ask users to accept?
Daryl LaBar
@daryllabar
No, I'm talking about "Statistics" that you automatically enable and allow users to opt out...
Jonas Rapp
@rappen
Well, you know I am not that good with English, we probably mean the same thing ;)
It's all available in the code - open source! :D
Basically: open tool, execute query, open view, save view, etc.
No details, nothing about connection or data, nothing about e.g. which entity view was queried etc. Classic web logging service, so it stores location etc. But of course no browser features, as this is no browser.
Daryl LaBar
@daryllabar
So you record how many times they open a view, or save a view, or execute a query, but never what it actually is? I'm thinking about enabling something like this for the EBG, but I'm not sure what informatino I would care about
Jonas Rapp
@rappen
Exactly. Actually a simple http call similar to the js code you would embed to you web page, but with faked "url name" that instead is the name of the feature being performed. XTB core uses the same method (Mr T copied my code) to count plugin usage.
Please don't use my tokens ;)
Daryl LaBar
@daryllabar
So it just records whatever data you give it? u, camefrom, etc. Do I have to login to see the stats, or can I view yours?
Jonas Rapp
@rappen
This one works for XTB statcounter.com/p10479559/popular/?guest_login=1&account_id=2309392&login_id=5&code=bd40204dbb949d0d2a9b206d6b70ffc6&&perpage=200
Not sure I have a gues login to mine...
*guest
Daryl LaBar
@daryllabar
So the only thing you can record are the "pages" which you list as action?
Jonas Rapp
@rappen
Yep
Daryl LaBar
@daryllabar
So I could encode my settings into some weird string, and then be able to parse that after the fact.
interesting
