What are column scatter plots?
and if both variables are categorical?
akshay sharma
@akaysh

and if both variables are categorical?

Like gender and if the person survived or not

Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
if both are categorical, you can still do something like this?
I'm not sure of the best way to visualize it though
that's a case where you just do an ANOVA or Fisher exact test and just say the results
or just put the numbers in a 2x2 table.
akshay sharma
@akaysh
What is ANOVA or Fisher?
I know about Chi square
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
I meant Chi square
Fisher exact test is similar but drops normality
akshay sharma
@akaysh
Have you used DataFrames?
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
yes
akshay sharma
@akaysh
Can you tell me how to pivot a frame in that?
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
akshay sharma
@akaysh
I am having some problem
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
oh I have no idea how to do that
akshay sharma
@akaysh
Okay I will give you a proper example
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
I am a noob with DataFrames :P
ask in the general channel
akshay sharma
@akaysh
Listen to the example
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
though I think you'll get the most help in the #data channel on the Slack
akshay sharma
@akaysh
You might be able to help :P
oh yea
I didn't know there was a data channel
I am only part of juliasoc team I think
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
You'll probably get a Query.jl answer too lol
there's tons of channels
akshay sharma
@akaysh
What is the main julia
team name
on slack
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
#general ?
akshay sharma
@akaysh
I mean where can I find this data channel
and all other channels
They are not in juliasoc right?
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
oh, are you not in the main Julia slack?
akshay sharma
@akaysh
No I am not :(
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
akshay sharma
@akaysh
Thanks
There are only three channels
General, my first pr and random
Lyndon White
@oxinabox
cloick on channels (the word channels, next to the plus) and there will be a list you can join
there are like 50
akshay sharma
@akaysh
Oh okay :P
@oxinabox can you help with that?
hoogleraar
@hoogleraar
how to apply neuralnetdiffeq for mnist dataset? I'm very new to Julia and DiffEq, but quite experienced with ML/DL.
Christopher Rackauckas
@ChrisRackauckas
NeuralNetDiffeq is an entirely different thing @hoogleraar
It cannot be applied to data
You are probably looking for DiffEqFlux
