Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
I'll look into that
Sebastian Pfitzner
@pfitzseb
But then it wouldn't be inline anymore, no?
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
No, that's the caveat
The other way would be to wrap chrome from Julia, but that's no small task ;)
Sebastian Pfitzner
@pfitzseb
Something that could work: Display a static image inline and have an option to open the interactive svg in a new window.
Nils
@nilshg
Potential minor "bug": when an error is raised and I click the link to the referenced line, I get Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'Shell' of undefined
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
@Varanas That could work. Ideally you want Gadfly to choose the best option
Nils
@nilshg
Although Juno does open the correct file, jumps to the correct line and highlights it correctly, so I'm not sure why this TypeError is raised...
Sebastian Pfitzner
@pfitzseb
Oh, and something that would be nice also is the option to suppress the output of some line with a " - although that probably looks strange if there's some lines with a semicolon and some without in your code...
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
Yeah that would be handy
Sebastian Pfitzner
@pfitzseb
That was of course meant to be a ;...
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
Yeah I figured :P
Sebastian Pfitzner
@pfitzseb
Thought so ;)

@MikeInnes
I'm not sure I understand, the theme looks fine to me – what were you expecting to see?
Tobias Link
@beingalink
ok, guess I was just used to a different theme in lighttable
In the first screenshot I was just missing separators
if it's to be expected to look like that, it's fine I guess
sorry for the wrong alarm
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
No problem. You can change the theme by opening up the user behaviors file
The bundle uses it's own settings folder which is why it's not picking up on your old theme, if that helps
Sebastian Pfitzner
@pfitzseb
Something I found a bit strange is that there are two plugin directories - one for the preinstalled plugins in the installation/extraction-dir and one in ~\AppData\Roaming\Juno-LT for user-added plugins. It'd be nice if those could be unified.
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
That's always been there, though
Sebastian Pfitzner
@pfitzseb
Hm, true - hadn't noticed with LT because there were fewer plugins installed.
Sebastian Pfitzner
@pfitzseb
Oh, and do you have any clue why I can't open the dev-inspector anymore? I'm sure it worked yesterday, but since I undocked it only an empty window (which I can see in the taskbar but cannot open) comes up.

@few
When juno is connected to a julia instance running in a terminal and I enter a variable name into that terminal, then the output goes to the lighttable terminal and not the terminal julia is running in. Is this expected?
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
@Varanas, that's weird, not sure why
@few No, I've just fixed that as it happens
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
I pushed an update to the dropbox, but you might need to checkout jewel and lazy if you download it
And I can't promise not to break the master versions ;)
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
@Varanas ok, I'm seeing the taskbar issue you mentioned
Hopefully it will go away if I rebuild the atom-shell binaries properly
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
@Varanas There's a new windows binary here, let me know if that fixes your issue.
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
I'm trialing a small forum. If you get a chance, you're welcome to sign up, post some topics, whatever.
few
@few
@one-more-minute I guess the windows binary doesn't run under 32 bit XP? (the only version I can test with at home)
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
Sorry, XP is a no go for atom shell. atom/atom-shell#691
few
@few
well, then testing has to wait till next year
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
I added github logins to the Juno discussion board if that helps anyone
Sebastian Pfitzner
@pfitzseb
@one-more-minute Yep, the new release fixes the problem with the jump menu is fixed. Although the behaviour is not quite consistent with other programs under windows, since a click on the icon does not minimize the window should it be in focus.
Okay, that's not the real problem. The window just isn't minimizable (is that even a word?!), the minimize button is greyed out and hence doesn't work.
(And the github login thingy is great!)
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
hmm, the minimising issue is odd, haven't seen that myself
Sebastian Pfitzner
@pfitzseb
I could reproduce it on three different machines running Windows 8.1 or the newest Windows Server 2012 with the newest binaries (I think, those that are linked in the discuss forum).
Nils
@nilshg
Is the forum down?
I was trying to post about a potentially troubling issue (if it isn't my fault, and can be reproduced, which I can't do right now for a lack of access to other machines): I think the inline display gets negative decimals wrong by a factor of at least 10
Consider randn(10,10)/100, when doing this in the REPL I get lots of -0.0x and -0.00x numbers as expected, but in Juno all the negative numbers are displayed as -0.x
E.g. -0.00675 is displayed as -0.7 - if I multiply by -1, the inline display shows 0.00675
Nils
@nilshg
I just spent an hour looking for a bug in my code but it appears that it's actually just the display that gets it wrong...
Mike J Innes
@MikeInnes
Yeah, just doing some maintenence
