    For the free trial accounts, is it possible to enable device authentication (either basic or x509)?
    AndrewPasika
    @AndrewPasika
    Sure, you can do that on “Device management” -> “Credentials” -> "X.509 certificates”

    Thank you. Do entries placed there apply to all devices or can I specify credentials per device?

    Client authentication designed to be made mandatory on a per-tenant basis, separately for each transport. So this configs will be applied for all devices under the specified transport in the scoupe of tenant. See
    Authentication interface for clients for better understanding how it works under the hood.

    https://docs.kaaiot.io/KAA/docs/current/Features/Communication/KPC/Configuration/#authentication-interface-for-clients

    Yes, I have seen that documentation, but it seems to indicate I must edit the Kubernetes config map directly. Is there a way to modify these settings in the web application for the trial account?

    Sure, you can do that from the “Credentials” dashboard.
    Btw, we are writing the tutorial on TLS client certificates with details on uni/bi-directional TLS authentication and it will be available in several days.

    Hi. I connected an ESP32 board and sending data via MQTT. I receive a success answer (/status), but the message is not seen in device telemetry. When I send the message with curl (same version and token) - the message is seen perfectly well. Any idea?
    This is my output:
    Publishing: kp1/bt9eb0aikfmg80udobk0-v1/dcx/<token>/json/94443 [{"dht22":{"humidity":1,"temperature":23.3,"heat_idx":21.71167}}]
    Message arrived [kp1/bt9eb0aikfmg80udobk0-v1/dcx/<token>/json/94443/status] (len=0)
    Message for DCX

    There is a known issue with admin permissions for analytics that is not solved yet. Please, log in under the root user using your KaaID (using the “Log in as tenant owner” button).
