    @libcce
    its probably more rare in library land
    so maybe at the end is right
    my brain is mush though
    @mpfl i tried to see why zoom didn't open
    looked at my settings
    hopefully this problem doesnt come up again
    @danielbangert @konrad if you see this tomorrow morning and zoom is not working for you, just create another zoom channel and add it to the etherpad
    The UC Zoom doesn't like me

    @libcce
    @stragu_gitlab I added you to the repo
    Sorry for dragging you back into GitHub
    Once you thought you were out...
    Stéphane Guillou
    @stragu_gitlab
    Haha that's fine, I don't think it's possible to be engaged in many Open Source communities and stay away from GitHub :)
    Tim Dennis
    @jt14den
    @weaverbel don't know if I can join zoom, but will work some during the sessions
    Matthias Liffers

    @ragamouf_twitter
    hi all - I'm really pleased to share that UTS Library had a great session this morning slashing and burning through the intro section for the FAIR data and software lesson! Thanks @mpfl for your friendly and accessible git process coaching - now to make it so!
    Stéphane Guillou
    @stragu_gitlab
    Congrats! :)

    If anyone is interested (or knows about the subject more than I do, which is likely!), I'd love some feedback on what I've done so far on Decentralisation. English is my third language, so even some fixing up of the wording would be nice :) -> https://cryptpad.fr/pad/#/2/pad/edit/zX552vd5pmWHKO-+QI26HP6g/

    (sorry, moved to CodiMD because CryptPad was playing up: https://demo.codimd.org/s/BypRtNAa4# )

    @mpfl
    The joys of decentralisation? :-D
    Stéphane Guillou
    @stragu_gitlab
    hahaha indeed :D
    Matthias Liffers
    @mpfl
    Is it possible to edit and just make suggestions?
    Stéphane Guillou
    @stragu_gitlab
    It should be all open for edits. I added an example on how to comment in the "notes" section.
    Stéphane Guillou
    @stragu_gitlab
    I have to leave, but thanks so much for looking through it, @mpfl ! Looking forward to more comments and contributions, and I'll be adding to it throughout the next few weeks. Thanks everyone, have a great weekend! :)

    Much much sprinting
    :)
    @silviadg87 I'm in

    Hi @konrad I agree about the activities being moved to later. We looked at other ones https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Wikidata_curricula/Activities especially Everything is connected
    but I wasn't thrilled about it
    I think an ice breaker without doing something on your computer would be nice
    adapting jargon busting?
    or what about just exploring wikipedia?
    like the questions you ask, about your home town/city and whether information in Wikipedia is missing/accurate?
    Konrad Förstner
    @konrad
    Yes, that would be great. Look for you hometown in different languages and look if the number of citizen is the same.
    Chris Erdmann
    @libcce
    It allows you to start with Wikipedia and then talk about how Wikidata is the underlying database/souce
    Chris Erdmann
    @libcce
    @silviadg87 what do you think about the git intro?
    Silvia Di Giorgio
    @silviadg87
    I will have a look at it :-)
    @libcce I like it
    Chris Erdmann
    @libcce
    :) Might need something about creating a website for the thesis/dissertation project as well?
    Those were the 4 major themes: collaboration, sharing, versioning, website
