Hi. Ask any questions here.
Pimmetje
@Pimmetje
I am missing some documentation on how the crons are invoked. By the looks of it i have to install one of the 4 examples. Can i run other php files as a task?
Mikhail
@MUlt1mate
@Pimmetje You have to create some method that invokes TaskRunner::checkAndRunTasks(). Then just run this method every minute as you usually do.

For example: class Controller {public function tasks(){ TaskRunner::checkAndRunTasks() }} cron: * cd folder; php yii controller/tasks (for yii framework)
there must be five asterisks, markdown cuts it off
Mikhail
@MUlt1mate
you can't run other files, unless you wrap it in a method

Mikhail, you have been done great job with cron-manager, but deploing seems to be bottle neck. getting error code 500 and I have no idea what I need to conf or..
Mikhail
@MUlt1mate
@vendor-vandor Hi. What framework do you use?
vendor-vandor
@vendor-vandor
yet not any of, I'm new with MVC apps :S
Mikhail
@MUlt1mate
@vendor-vandor the proper of this library is to invoke class methods. So you need to at least use OOP programming. And then you need to integrate this library to your application. Here is example with simple app using active record database library https://github.com/MUlt1mate/cron-manager/tree/master/examples/active_record
copy this folder to a new project just to get it work, install dependencies via composer. and follow instructions on given page.
set web root to www folder. You now should be able to open application
if you have 500's switch your display_errors to On in php.ini
I hope it'll help
