Hi @sebamatusr can you share the sample code or create a sample App?
Tim
@timunie
Hi @sebamatusr I tried to reproduce this in the demo and I was able to reproduce your issue.

Tim
@timunie
it works on another childwindow. Just try the second button:

@TripleNico
Is there a way to bind all child window theme's to the MainWindow theme? In other words if the MainWindow Theme is changed than all child windows have to sync with that.
Tim
@timunie
Hi @TripleNico should normally work via DynamicResource
or you listen to the ThemeChanged-Event of the ThemeManager
TripleNico
@TripleNico
Found a simpler way. When i peeked the definition i found that you can also supply the Application. So i changed it to this ThemeManager.Current.ChangeTheme(Application.Current, "Dark.Orange") and now it works like i would! :-)
@timunie But still thanks for your swift reply! :-)
Tim
@timunie
yeah that is my first option ^^

Hi, I just recently started using MahApps.Metro and its amazing but I had a quick question regarding the MetroWindow, I am using Windows 11 and I like that the window corners are slightly rounded, the metro window doesn't have these rounded corners. Is there a way for me to implement the rounded corners while keeping the useful features from MahApps?

@punker76
@Roypy In these early windows 11 days, nope.
Roy
@Roypy
@punker76 Got it, thanks.

@TripleNico
@Roypy a user called Nuklon has already opend issue #4140 for this, you can track and/or support the progress there.

I'm using the last mahapp version, how can I style the TabControl as Visual Studio? Do you have any example?
Tim
@timunie
Hi @cod3rshotout do you have the sample App?
cod3rshotout
@cod3rshotout
@Tim which sample app?
Tim
@timunie
MahApps
There is a VS demo
cod3rshotout
@cod3rshotout
@Tim could you send me the link?
Best is to clone the repro and start exploring 🙂
In the code you will find the demos and original styles
cod3rshotout
@cod3rshotout
@Tim which file?
Good night
cod3rshotout
@cod3rshotout
@Tim in the latest version of MahApp I doesn't have this Visual Studio style
Tim
@timunie
@cod3rshotout you need to add it explicitly in merged dictionary like shown in the sample I send you (line 18)
cod3rshotout
@cod3rshotout

@timunie ok, thanks. I switched to dragablz component but I have a problem changing the palette. I have created a pastebin which contains all the code that I wrote:

https://pastebin.com/AEK3ADUU

the issue is that when I change the theme, this is applied correctly to all components except to dragablz, how is that possible?

Tim
@timunie
Dragablz has it's own
Styles so MahApps styles are not used there
I cannot support you with this. You will have to write your own if you need a special Style. Sorry.
cod3rshotout
@cod3rshotout
@timunie thanks, what is the method to set dark or light mode? I see this: ControlzEx.Theming.ThemeManager.Current.ChangeThemeBaseColor
but for other windows isn't applied
cod3rshotout
@cod3rshotout
what is the correct way to set light and dark?
this method doesn't exists anymore: SetLightDark

Does anyone know why i'm getting this?
Jan Karger ツ ☀
@punker76
@mrjakepavek_gitlab You don't need to use mah:StaticResource, use DynamicResource instead.

that would be it, thank you!
