So of these five things you told the community you were going to do, you only did one, and badly.
Besides, there is someone who is apparently in charge of the Mainframe Telegram. I say apparently, because he doesn't seem to be very effective. Messages about how MFT is going to pump and dump, how Mick is an -*,... Are NOT deleted, and productive criticism is not answered.
This is absolutely ridiculous.
You aren't even making partnerships with dApps. If you think that just by creating a product people are going to use it, then you are dreaming and I should most likely directly sell my MFT I have been holding for so long.

I definitely agree with a person who posted this on the Telegram chat: "
Lack of a clear idea on how they want to implement their vision. Using big words and talking about how they want to change the dapp space is cool and all, but from the outside it looks like the team have no clue on how they will get that done and bring developers into the Mainframe OS. As far as i am aware its not even listed on the main websites were developers can find the project. Most developers don't even know about Mainframe OS.
"
Voilà. That was my "constructive" criticism. I wrote it, but I honestly don't know why because you are just openly lying to your community.
I genuinely hope the Magna Carta release will bring some hope back in the community.

“MainframeOS” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.
Chrome downloaded this file today at 9:22 PM from mainframeos.com.
Color me unimpressed.

Just tried Mainframe OS. How could I add other dapps? For example Uniswap or Maker CDP. Are they not availlable yet? I have only "Payments" and "Noted". Are these the only dapps at this point?
...And another question: Is Mainframe relying on Infura as well? Like Metamasj?

Hi, we’ve been focusing on some other project over the pas few months, as you can read in Mick’s blog post: https://blog.mainframe.com/mainframe-credit-protocol-unlocking-economic-freedom-financial-access-for-all-753a9590692f Because of this shift in focus we had to pull resources away from Mainframe OS, notably the maintenance of some apps we used to provide such as Uniswap, and the development of the core OS itself. We’re still actively working on Erebos though, which is a core component of Mainframe OS so once we’re able to allocate more resources on it, it will be from a good place.
@russwfranklin I don’t remember ever having a dev forum, are you referring to the community forum we had? If so we shut it down to use this channel instead.
@webersson Yes we’re using Infura to interact with Ethereum, though eventually we’ll provide a way for the user to select another provider

Regarding the macOS error, you should be able to allow running Mainframe OS by opening the System Preferences > Security and Privacy window

Is the project going well? @PaulLeCam you said that Voltaire delayed to focus on credit protocol then can we expect some product related to credit protocol? This is room for developers I know but it is the only channel for asking to the team memeber. No update for tweet, medium post(credit protocol article updated in Nov I know but we want to know the overall status of the project) and even Mick do not visit tg group for a long time. People in tg group dissapointing about the communication.

I also worry that team stop developing Mainframe OS,, You guys start with decentralized chat app, but forgive that and then change focus on OS, but now also change focus to Credit protocol.. I also share the vision about web3, but you guys change the way too frequently to reach that vision.. It seems like that you do not have clear plan

Hi, what's the status of Mainframe OS?
Paul Le Cam
@PaulLeCam
Hi, we’ll make announcements related to the credit protocol when we have something ready to show. Our focus is on making a viable proof of concept before we can move things further. Regarding Mainframe OS, we’re not actively working on it at the moment but still intend to focus back on it when we can, because our plan is the same as it’s been since we started: get people to use decentralised technologies. We started focusing on messaging because that’s what we had experience with and thought the decentralised infrastructure would allow us to build this, but as we started to dig deeper into the problems we’d have to solve, we realised we would need to build lot of “platform-level” functionalities (such as identities and contacts management, storage, application updates...) even before we can get to messaging, this is why we started building Mainframe OS to support not only messaging, but also other types of applications. Now as you may be aware, the whole “web3" movement that seemed all the rage when we started working on Mainframe OS hasn’t reached much end-user traction, so our current focus on decentralised finance is with the hope it can be a more straight-forward way to attract users. We still intend to build a whole decentralised platform around it as we can, but first we need to get enough users to make it relevant providing such a platform. I hope that answers your questions.

@localethereum_twitter
@PaulLeCam what do you mean by messaging? Are you building something akin to Whisper?
My 2c: Mainframe OS hasn't seen end-user traction because (a) no big apps are built on it, because they're waiting for a confirmed stable platform & SDK (incl us); and (b) (following,) end-users haven't heard about it
