Thank you for the clarification! And happy new year by the way! Judging from your table here: Makuna/NeoPixelBus#229 Ws2813 model method should give me the broadest compatibility between different chips because of the long reset time, am I correct? I know that ideally every user should change it to their specific pixel model, but i'd like to set the default to a "baseline" that is compatible with the most common chips out of the box (like 800khz method is now)

@Aircoookie Yes, "Ws2812x" and "Ws2813" are the same and are the most compatible and support all below it. "Ws2812" (without the x) is just first and some second generation.
