@Makuna so sorry for the delayed response... V-Day took priority. Neopixeltest doesn’t flicker but it does seem that the white LEDS are on and washing out all of the color. I’m using a genuine Uno and I just update my IDE a month ago and I’ve got updates neopixelbus to the latest on Tuesday.

Now that I’m home: IDE version 1.8.8, NeoPixelBus version 2.4.2

@zjhuffman What method are you suppling to the constructor of the NeoPixelBus?
NeoSk6812Method or Neo800KbpsMethod? Did you try the other?
How are you defining the RgbwColor that you pass to SetPixelColor?

@Makuna I wasn’t aware of the sk6812 method. I’ll give that one a try today. Also I’ve tried just modifying the HSL portion the the HSL colors I want, I’ve tried passing that into RgbwColor() I’ve even tried setting the color statically to RgbwColor(255,0,0,0).

Tried the sk6812 method just a bit ago and got better results, the hues are significantly more defined, but they colors are completely random when, what I think I have, shouldn’t go past a 35.0f. But maybe I just don’t know how the HSL works. I’m trying to keep the colors between a 0.0 and a 35.0 so that it resembles a roaring fire inside a furnace. So reds, oranges and yellows.

One step at a time. Make sure you can set "specific" colors at "specific" locations. This is what the NeoPixelTest example is about. HSL colors should not be setting the W channel of the output at all. How are you powering your neopixels?
This Wiki page covers HslColor object and you definitely need to read that part.
Or do you believe you do have it connected and setting the colors correctly at the correct locations; which was your original problem.

Sorry, no longer at the shop but I think what I missed on that wiki was that, in this library, hue should be less than 1.0. So it should be something like 0.35f, not 35.0f. I’ll check this and the specific colors and specific locations when I get back to the shop in a couple hours.
Also, I’m supplying 5v every 666mm or so with a 5v 70a power supply.
