yea - we make a lot of queries. the latency kills us

the 50ms toll is huge when there is serialization occurring for those queries

@akrzos think this needs to be part of our deployment guide, alomg with right sizing your memory and CPU config. Same code, massive performance impact. Great testing job to prove this out.
