@akrzos Big improvements from changing that refresh worker in the (50ms) enviroment ...went from 1.5hour down to 8 minutes
I would say that is reasonable

@jdeubel what to you configure it to?
Keenan Brock
@kbrock

@jdeubel nice! looks like that work payed off

@dmetzger57 Moved the refresh worker by the db appliance and away from the VCenter
The cost of querying VCenter was a lot less

@jdeubel I’ll close the BZ

@jdeubel Awesome!, glad to hear we made everyone happy again!
@jdeubel Other thought would be what if the vimbroker lives on the appliance near the vcenter and the actual refresh worker lives near the db appliance
[db appliance] <--lan latency-->[refresh worker appliance]<----wan latency(50ms)-->[VIMBroker appliance]<--lan latency-->[vcenter]
not sure if vimbroker can be utilized outside the local appliance

@akrzos it is currently designed to be used by processes within the appliance only
Jason Frey
@Fryguy
Feb 26 2016 18:32
@akrzos I don't think it can in the present architecture
because I think it uses a local DRb connection

@chessbyte @Fryguy Well that answers that question, thanks.
I don't think it would provide much savings (if any) anyways
