LAZY: any ideas on putting a hash into the where clauses stored in the session instead of storing sql snippets? I want to get rid of the merge_sql
specific question: anyone see obvious issues. (@matthewd - I will not call merge conditions with hash)

Given those 2 choices, I think I'd prefer the hash

I see no particular reason that'd be worse

so, pagination and export send to the server "display page 2, you know the parameters I used last right - just use those" :(
so we store the sql blobs and stuff in the session for "the last page"
given this, there is no way to make multiple browser tabs work :(

well, you could, right, you'd just have to qualify them with something that represents a "tab", if that's possible

or you could use the url for what it was intended for?

( I'm not arguing that point...I agree :D )

@kbrock that is the intended direction, but you're not gonna get that in the prior releases unless you want to make some major changes, obviously

@dclarizio yea - sorry. that is why I want to update session to use a hash instead

yep, works for me until we can remove it

@dclarizio no. I was complaining instead of doing something. so I'm truely sorry about that.

np . . . I just realize that you have to deal with past releases and probably have to try to do least impact kind of changes downstream

@all I setup a method to deploy performance monitoring on a single appliance instructions are here - https://github.com/jtaleric/browbeat/blob/master/ansible/README.cfme-allinone.md
You get a really complete setup of system performance metrics and some application metrics though that needs some work to get more valuable data from the appliance
I have a live appliance with the dashboards running if your on rh network I can pm you the address to view
