James Wong
@jameswnl
are we doing any sort of sprint planning?
backlog grooming?
Brett Thurber
@bthurber
@jameswnl we track everything here: https://trello.com/b/qmgdDaY5/infrastructure-migration-v2v-engineering We have planning sessions 2 times a year and then target sprints/sizing efforts at that time for new features
Greg Blomquist
@blomquisg
haha
@bthurber beat me to asking him
James Wong
@jameswnl
thanks @bthurber
Brett Thurber
@bthurber
we scrum 2 times a week and cover all in-progress cards
I groom at the end of each sprint and plan the next
James Wong
@jameswnl
ok
Brett Thurber
@bthurber
I'll add you and the other's to our calls
James Wong
@jameswnl
is this github project a parallel thing to trello?
or it’s more for UI?
Brett Thurber
@bthurber
its where our UXD team tracks work for our releases....somewhat parallel
James Wong
@jameswnl
ok
Brett Thurber
@bthurber

@michaelkro first question, why isn't your handle micro? That's the best @redhat.com email address :)
second question, what day does Vince come back from PTO?
Michael Ro
@michaelkro
hahaha, my official redhat email actually is micro@redhat.com
the IT guys were really excited about that during my NHO
James Wong
@jameswnl
that’s even better :smile:
Michael Ro
@michaelkro
Vince should be back on Monday, if I recall correctly
Greg Blomquist
@blomquisg
You know, I saw that, and at first I thought, "Oh, he managed to get IT to give him micro." Then, I realized, "OMG, it's actually his official emial!" (based on the criteria for email addresses and your name)
Michael Ro
@michaelkro
lol! During NHO, when I checked in with IT, they were like "You're him!" It was pretty funny hah
Greg Blomquist
@blomquisg
Like Neo from the Matrix
Michael Ro
@michaelkro

@bthurber
@blomquisg what was the remainng PR needing to be merged for OSP support? I believe @AparnaKarve had submitted.
Greg Blomquist
@blomquisg
I merged one yesterday from @AparnaKarve ... I think that was the last one
it was for the last bit in tying in the Security Group and Flavors when saving/editing OSP plans
Brett Thurber
@bthurber
Do you have a link to it by chance?
Aparna Karve
@AparnaKarve
Yes, it was the last missing piece for OSP support
Greg Blomquist
@blomquisg
thanks to google chrome history
Brett Thurber
@bthurber
Thanks! Linking into the trello card so I can move to completed. :)
Greg Blomquist
@blomquisg
I know the NSA (and others?) is watching that, but all they're gonna get from me is boring github links :)
@bthurber awesome!
Aparna Karve
@AparnaKarve
boring github links - true… but ManageIQ/manageiq#18045 is actually pretty interesting ;)
Michael Ro
@michaelkro

Greg Blomquist
@blomquisg
HAHA, yeah the contents aren't boring, but the links are :)

Brett Thurber
@bthurber
@vconzola @kedark3 can you guys triage this BZ? https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1630446
Kedar Kulkarni
@kedark3
Seems like Appliance timezone issue, not a bug, will check thoroughly on Monday @bthurber
Bill Wei
@bzwei

@/all For BZ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1614864 I made a comment:

Recently we made some changes the cancelling logic in backend. It is merged to upstream only:

https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq/pull/17825

We will see the reported problem if the following assumptions are all met:
1. Test with upstream build
2. UI directly changes "Magrating:" to "Migrating: Cancelling migration" without reading from API.
3. After refresh, UI reads the options field instead of cancel_status field for the status.

Hope it helps a bit for debugging. Thanks.

Brett Thurber
@bthurber
Thanks @bzwei
Yadnyawalkya Tale
