    web-notifications look really nice

    They can be a bit ugly at times though. And there is no easy/constant way to style them yet. If it was not for that I would use them for everything. Also no real mobile support. So mixed feelings on my end. They will still be a great addition to Herald.

    Ok Gitter is a bit slow but very cool! I will try to keep use this more. For those following I am about to release a way to do delay/transfer runners during escalation. I would love feedback if anyone is free.

    @Kestanous
    Wow apparently you can't wrap a collection.update with a meteor.setTimeout.... Thats, really irritating.
    Sivli Kestanous
    @Kestanous
    Just published v1.0.0-pre1! I don't have any more functionality planed for core so everything from here on out will be feature requests or ideas I come up with later. I will update the readme tomorrow. If anyone interested in testing things let me know what you think.

    Thanks, let me know thoughts or if you have any issues. I will be available until about 11PM eastern time (3:00 UTC) today, and offline until sunday. I will try to finish the readme before then and if I can I will check the issues over my weekend.

    @enaros cool thanks for your interest! All: Found a bug with user preferences where general medium is never respected. fix and minor api change will come with v1.0.0-pre-2.

    v1.0.0-pre3 is out. User Preferences fixes, thanks @erasaur

    I plan on releasing v1 this Thursday night or Friday morning.

    Delaying as I want to add one more small backend feature. I want to dynamically add the package version number to the notification inserts. This will allow for easy data migrations.

    v1.0.0 is finally out!

    I change my mind after some research and thought. Anyone on a pre 1.0.0 release will want to remove old notifications. Any pre-1 release should be fine.

    @Kestanous
    iron:router v1.0 user will want to update to herald v1.1.

    Hey @/all. Its been a while but Herald v1.2.0 is now out! Checkout out the change log for full details. There has been a lot of changes so be sure to test it before you push to production. If anyone wants to help set up test please go to https://github.com/Meteor-Reaction/Herald-Example, any help on this front would be greatly appreciated.

    Hii, I'm thinking to use this package on my website. The question is, each minute you execute Queue.run(). It is more efficient that automatic collection reactivity of meteor? If I create a notification it will automatically watched ? Thank you.
    Sivli Kestanous
    @Kestanous
    @kahon sorry for the late response, not sure why I never got this message. We removed the queue in the latest release so it now sends on request. Both before and now actually use reactivity for client side notifications. The queue was for a delay magic but that proved to buggy for basic usage.

    Is there anyway to "rollup" notifications. meaning.... like "Jeff, John, Sam and 50 others liked your post" instead of getting 53 notifications about someone liking your post? Or is that something that has to be custom built? is there a recommended way of doing it?
    Radu Chiriac
    @raduchiriac
    @Kestanous did you find a maintainer? It's only now that I saw you post
