    @yannduran This is on topic for this forum. And this is important information about a core diagnostics process.
    Developer community is the expected mechanism for providing feedback and issues for non-github-based teams.

    @CyrusNajmabadi you've obviously not learned from our previous interaction. you're not hearing what people are saying, you're just trying to make a point, again. the two people involved in the discussion have said they've had enough, so unless someone asks you another question, please STOP

    Does anyone know if using code snippets in Visual Studio 16.11.0 Preview 2.0 in .NET 6, using WPF with BlazorWebView, is currently not working as intended? I'm trying the usual "prop" and double-tab to have the prop snippet appear, but nothing happens. It's like code snippets are not working at all.
    Talking about .razor pages, at the bottom inside a @code block
    It's working fine in normal .cs files, but in .razor files inside a @code block, it doesn't, even tho it works as intended in the non-preview of Visual Studio

    how to prevent create web.config when publish?
    i dont want it to be created when publishing to the folder

    I am at the stage where even using VS 2019 is unbearable - I am now beyond frustration and every new version that comes out is incrementally worse than the previous. More than 50% of my dev time is waiting or fighting the IDE - how is everyone else finding it?
    dotnet watch is a disaster - the compiler is continuously giving false readings - perfectly legitimate builds are crashing - i dread pushing the start button or running the dotnet xxx command. Package management is a huge mess as well. I am using the latest 2019 version - I need to make a decision to move to VS code or hope that 2022 will be better -

    @wgrs
    Updates are hellishly slow - I am getting 280 Mb/s and waiting for updates is like watching paint dry. Its gone from one of the most awesome IDE's to a spluttering barely useable mess. Liveshare was another good idea that turned into a unusable disaster. I even quit learning Blazor because that was another monumental mess trying to use VS..... and yet, everyday they just keep packing in more and more broken features. How have MS let things get so bad with what used to be the best IDE in the world!

    @wgrs
    I think I have answered my own question - type in "Crashing" into VS feedback site and you get 10 000 + responses back. That says it all - no, I wont get sucked into downloading 2022 - its time to learn VS Code properly and get away from this mess.

    Hi, does anyone know how to open foreign sources (decompiled with ILSpy) on Ctrl-Click
    I have it on one PC - but I forgot how to do so...
    I like it VERY much
    SQL-MisterMagoo
    @SQL-MisterMagoo
    @bernd5 Ctrl-Q "decompiled" takes you there - it's in Options / Text Editor / C# / Advanced I believe

    another question
    I have some tests based on NUnit and dotnet core.
    I reinstalled my machine - but now I can't profile them
    Profiling of a normal exe works - but not for the tests
    it shows no profiling window
    Any idea?
    In the Test-console I can read:
    IMPORTANT Profiling .NET Core tests requires full PDB's. Be sure to set Debug information level to Full on each project to be profiled.
    Bernd Baumanns
    @bernd5
    I checked it with VS2022, VS2019 Preview and VS2019 - it does not work in all of them

    I'm trying to build something from VS2019 Community, using the new CMakePresets. I previously had some configs that worked for CMakeSettings.json, but I get a strange error about duplicate manifest when I try CMakePresets:
    {$BUILD_DIR}\CVTRES : fatal error CVT1100: duplicate resource. type:MANIFEST, name:1, language:0x0409
    {$BUILD_DIR}\LINK : fatal error LNK1123: failure during conversion to COFF: file invalid or corrupt
    Does anyone know what would cause such an error?

    Hi. Why does VS2019 update always break one thing or the other. In a version, I experience high sustained CPU usage. Once updated, the CPU usage is gone but now quick action doesn't work and neither will I see error squiggle until I compile. Error List not updated either, I only track error in build output tab. I will have to restart VS over and over before it will finally work. Any suggestions please.

    Wow - Just installed VS2022 preview 1.1 = what can I say. As bad as 2019 was, everything is worse with 2022. As predicted, they have gone backwards again. Soon VS will be totally unusable. Everything takes longer and I have not come across any improvements that I can actually take advantage of.

    HI I am trying to install Visual Studio Professional silently using a config file, which I generated from an existing VS 2019 installation.

    I am using the command vs_professional__595095968.1588866019.exe --quiet --norestart --installWhileDownloading --productKey=<ProductKey> --wait --cache --config=VS2019.config

    However I only see Visual Studio Installer being installed and that too when I invoke is not working.

    Hi all! Is there a way to view solution loading errors? I'm generating a .sln file and while it loads fine in Rider, latest VS 2019 Proffesional complains that it's corrupt
