    @MikaelEliasson Nice Tool you have made, but I could not use it in production due to lack of support for SqlBulkCopy options (SqlTransaction, IgnoreConstraints)

    Hi people! It's been a crazy year at work (startup https://www.bokio.se/ ) so I haven't the time or the energy to code on anything else. With summer vacation I plan to finish the 2.0 release wich includes some restructuring and also hopefully get some more people help with leading the project forward
    @ErikEJ Yeah, I made the stupid misstake almost all libraries do and tried to add a common layer with providers. I hope to fix that by reversing it so there is a common core and then each Sql flavour can be an extension. Then it's easy to support the native configurations for things like SqlBulkCopy

    @ErikEJ
    Great, then I can maybe contribute with SqlCeBulkCopy support
    Mikael Eliasson
    @MikaelEliasson
    That would be nice

    @ErikEJ Would you say I should go fully async with 2.0 ? It's a PIA to support both
    Erik Ejlskov Jensen
    @ErikEJ
    No thanks, SQL CE ADO.NET provider (being old) has no async support

    @MikaelEliasson
    That's the nice thing with not hiding it under an abstraction. The SqlCE library could be sync in that case

    With the new version there will be full access to the SqlBulkCopy object to override basically any setting. I just need to play around a bit more to get the API feel good and also write some tests for the new transaction support

    Hey @MikaelEliasson , are you still maintaining this project?

    hi, if a NotMapped attribute applied to a class, is useful with child class ?

    @MikaelEliasson Howdy! I'm using EFBatchOperation for the first time. I installed with nuget and I'm getting this extremely strange error. It's likely due to the strange way I have my application built but wondering if you have any ideas:
    System.MissingMethodException: 'Method not found: 'Void EntityFramework.Utilities.IEFBatchOperationBase`2.InsertAll(System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable`1<!!0>, System.Data.Common.DbConnection, System.Nullable`1<Int32>, System.Nullable`1<Int32>, System.Data.SqlClient.SqlRowsCopiedEventHandler)'.'

    I found some random janky DLL in another project and it magically works? But not nuget...

    Hi Mikael, I made an issue about turning on identity insert. Do you know if this is something that can be done?
    *can be done currently?
    I tried setting db.Database.ExecuteSql("BLABLA IDENTITY INSERT = ON") and that doesn't work
    maybe I need to pass in the same connection? I'm not really sure
