Hi , any idea why a newly added acu chek combo pump (the older died) to an existing working AAPS system based on Samsung A51 is not accessible by AAPS ? Tried almost all I know like redtsrt phone , manual bolus , clear AAPS cache , on and off nluetooth of both pump and phone. Addingbthe pump was successfull few times by Ruffi app. Thank you !
@arikpik Please join discord and ask question there... But short response is, that you will need to pair your Combo with Ruffy first (AAPS must not be running), like you did for your first pump.
Hello, I'm setting up AndroidAPS for my 9-year-old son. I'm super excited about finally having the benifits of a closed loop system when he returns to school, as the last year was pretty rough at school. Unfortunately, I'm a little behind schedule due to some maddening insurance issues, and then a backorder on the Orangelink. We have been running on open loop and entering all carbs, activating basal recomendations ect. while working through the questions in objective 3. The problem is that now it is requiring us to wait a week between some objectives, meaning that the system will not be operational until 9 days AFTER he goes back to school. I would like to have a full week at home with him running closed loop before turning him over to the hands of the school nurse, and also getting his endocrinoligist to create 2 different sets of doctors orders may not be possible.(Plus the fact that the nurse is not going to be activating multiple temp basal suggestions each day) Does anyone here know of a way to skip through the time requirement for the rest of the objectives? I've done a considerable amount of reading and familiarizing myself with the system, so I believe we are ready to move forward with giving him the benifits AndroidAPS has to offer when he goes back to school Aug. 11. CAN SOMEONE HELP PLEASE?! Thanks.
