@MiklasManuel did you do it the way it is explained in the wiki: https://androidaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/EN/Configuration/DanaRS-Insulin-Pump.html?
What Android Version do you have on your phone?
MiklasManuel
@MiklasManuel
I'm using Android 8.0 on a HTC u11 device. I tried to connect to the pump using the setup wizard as described in the wiki. But it doesn't find the pump. AAPS doesn't display the pump's serial number.

Sorry. Where should I ask about that instead?

@apanasef
hi everyone - who can help with crowdin translation - can't find how to activate proofreading (I am in the middle of translating the AAPS docs into Russian). Any hint appreciated
Milos Kozak
@MilosKozak
try it now

@apanasef
Thanks Milos

@sbouniol
GM, I am trying to find some details about Android APS, but the main git site refers to a wiki which seems to be down??? http://wiki.androidaps.org/
Lee B
@lee-b
It's not down for me.
sbouniol
@sbouniol
that worked! thanks @Viq!
@lee-B I get "This site can’t be reached"...
viq
@viq
@sbouniol all that site does is redirect to https://androidaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/EN/

@Heiner1
@sbouniol Noscript or sth else activated what disables redirecting???

Hey, I am just interested if there is any option to not allow the phone to make boluses with the connected pump. I only want to use it for Basal (if possible anyways) and Pump Info (treatments, battery, ...) and fear that the T1D accidentaly boluses too much.
Marie
@MarieT1D
A better place to ask is probably here: https://gitter.im/MilosKozak/AndroidAPS or in Facebook
Tom
@muehlt
Thank you!

@apanasef
hi all - what are the new files in .rst format meant for? do they need translation? for example, bg-source.rst file doesn't look like something that has to be translated. correct me if i'm wrong
Marie
@MarieT1D
It is just another file extension, (restructuredtext I stead of markdown which is .MD), but it is independent of the content, so it it has to be translated as much as .md. Thanks!
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
just tell me please what is there to translate in the above mentioned bg-source.rst --- the path directories? I am confused. Maybe I should leave them as they are?
Marie
@MarieT1D
https://github.com/openaps/AndroidAPSdocs/edit/master/docs/EN/Configuration/BG-Source.rst there is the original source Code and here: https://androidaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/EN/Configuration/BG-Source.html is what is shown in the docs. Maybe that helps you to understand what Needs to be translated. It is important that the rest stays the same. Or if you want a practical instruction: just translate after ":glob:", you need to translate anything, that is NOT in <….>. Like "General" , "Data Smoothing",
What language are you translating?
It's just like in index.rst
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
Marie, thank you - it was a bit confusing -- too many directories and practically no text.
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
translating into russian
Marie
@MarieT1D
great :) Thanks for your work
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
hello again, the index section of the manual (file: index.rst) which talks about suitable pumps seems to be giving wrong source links - needs someone's attention
Marie
@MarieT1D
@apanasef thanks, I will have a look tonight or tomorrow
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
@MarieT1D great, thanx
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
there are two identical files : WhatisAAPS.rst and WhatisAndroidAPS.rst -- I have translated the first one and see no reason in cloning its contents into the second one. Shouldn't the second file be removed?
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
Smartwatches.rst and Smartwatch.rst are also identical
Marie
@MarieT1D
Ah, just answered you per PN. WhatisAAPS is deleted in GitHub but somehow still appears… No Need to translate it
Also just Smartwatch.rst exists
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
who can explain why the more I translate the less is the completed % on the main crowding translation page. It looks like some of the already translated stuff is discarded for no reason. I understand that new docs appear all the time etc. but take the FAQ section for example - I've translated it all and now it's nearly empty again. ?
Marie
@MarieT1D
There are often things changed in the docs (https://github.com/openaps/AndroidAPSdocs/pulls?q=is%3Apr+is%3Aclosed). And unluckily, even if you just correct a typo, CROWDIN needs a new translation (or the translated sentence accepted). @xJoe knows some tricks I think
xJoe
@xJoe
@apanasef Unfortunately there is a problem with Crowdin which we could not solve yet. When we change something in a page or add just a little information some of the translations already done are "lost" in Crowdin. Luckily they are not completely gone but need to be reactivated.
grafik.png
  1. Click the sentence that has to be retranslated.
  2. Check if it says 100% match.
  3. If so you can click on the disc symbol on the right to save this already done translation.
    After that it has to be proofread again.
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
Ah, ok, at least it is clear what's going on. Because I was just going to give up ))) Thanks for the info , guys
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
No, from 74% back to 66% of translated text - it's impossible. I'm quitting until proper solution is found. Sorry I am not a programmer, can't help in resolving the issue but I can definitely save my time and effort (((
xJoe
@xJoe
@apanasef I think there is a missunderstand. We added quite some text (i.e. Libre 2 manual) and made some changes (i.e. added G6 transmitter with serial 8H...). The latter are seen as new text and therefore need to be translated again. But all other old text that might get "lost" in Crowdin just needs to be proofread, no translation neccessary. Would be happy if you could reconsider going on with your work for the Russian T1Ds. Спаси́бо.
fedor apanasenko
@apanasef
))) It was a moment of weakness )) I'll keep doing it no matter what. ))) It's just that at one moment I thought the work is nearing completion and now again - of course I keep rolling on
xJoe
@xJoe
Good to read that!

@dar-kod
I suggest two changes in "Building the APK":
  1. It is written "Never update gradle!". It should be deleted as it is not correct and leads to confusion.
  2. It should be added that key store password, key alias and password should be stored and used for each next building of the APK. Otherwise, it will not be possible to install a new APK without backup (Maintenance -> Export Settings), uninstalling an old APK and "Import Settings" in a new one.

Hello! Greetings from Brazil. I’m just buying my first pump, a ascu-check spirit combo. I already use Freestyle Libre with a blucon on it, and I would like to try to close the loop, with the pump… My ideia is to get my readings from the libre/blucon into AndroidAPS and make it to control the pump, adjusting the correction doses “auto-magically”
anyone who did this can share your thoughts about it?
and since it’s my first time here, sorry if i’m making noise on the wrong place :)

@jonathanmmm

Hi, just a question, can someone confirm that scanning Libre 2 (EU) with LibreLink patched first that scanning via the original Reader device (mmol/l device) is still possible? I just found out, that under the following link it is stated it does not work:
"During the 14 days you can use in parallel one or more NFC capable smartphones (not the reader device!) running the original LibreLink app for scanning via NFC."
https://androidaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/CROWDIN/pt/Hardware/Libre2.html?highlight=reader

I don't want to place a sensor and waste it, if the reader won't work the sensor had to be replaced, as in my setup the reader is crucial.
Hope somebody can clarify and help me.
