@davidjcastner I think I broke lol, and I think I bricked my extra hard drive too. It's not working anymore and I can't access Linux or the bootloader anymore

@davidjcastner @lantech19446 yes, I tried reformatting the the ext hard drive and I was able to. Now the problem is I can't open the boot menu or the grub boot menu

@lantech19446 yes, I'm trying to boot between windows10 and ubuntu from an external hard drive. I was enitially working but now it has stopped for some reason
ubutnu is on the external hard drive

Lots of issues doing that. Windows bootloader probably took over the process so it has no idea where to find Ubuntu.

unfortunately windows bootloader only sees windows, it used to have something to do with the order in which you installed but I think 10 has changed that paradigm a bit.
