I'm stuck on a printer receipt
It's not printing the date and wondering if i'm using wrong code
it prints name, team and other content i'm looking for
but not the date
<li class='date'>date: <?php echo($_GET['date']); ?></li>
Is that not correct?
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart

np @reaser iirc the $_GET is used to get values from the parameters (after the ?) in the URL, but things may have changed since the last time I used it.
if that's right, and if you are passing a date through, you could get it that way like you are the name and other stuff but since you are just gettin' system time, the date("...") should work.

ha, i just received notification that someone answered a question I asked 3 months ago on khanacademy:
" When I remove event from: $("body").on("click", function(event) {...} everything works exactly the same, at least in the KA viewer. Does the argument (i.e. event) actually do anything? "
...Oh how far I've come xDD
I remember how annoying it was for me to try to differentiate between arguments and parameters

@codyloyd How are you hosting your camperbot? Local server you have access to and control of? or?
Cody Loyd
@codyloyd
Sep 15 2016 20:28
I'm not using camperbot at all... I'm making my own. but to answer your question at the moment it's just running on my home computer. I did get it pushed to heroku earlier just to test it, but I don't like that it would either fall asleep or use up all my dyno hours
so Im not sure where it's going to live
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
Sep 15 2016 20:29
Ah. I’ll be curious what solution you come up with. We are such a small group that it currently lives on heroku and we just wake it up when we need it (montbot.herokuapp.com).

@SimplyPhy … So I think @MontBot would appreciate it if you did a PR to change his brownie point message to “cookie points” to match the image. https://github.com/MontCode/montbot
It would be a quick PR for you I think that will boost your Git Contribs.
