Ha nice hoodies. @davidjcastner yeah, a tiny team. A server dev, a full stack dev, and me (FE/UI/UX/Media). There are two others, but neither are very involved with our day-to-day workflow

@SimplyPhy that sounds like the dream team, I wish I had some other people to work with. Can be super stressful in a one person team
@Lilyheart yay!
really large teams can feel counter productive though, so a small team with a 1-3 people in each role sounds perfect

I'm trying to figure out what I can have for dinner. I need a robot kitchen that just makes food and I don't have to think about it.

Group projects make me want to bang my head against a wall. That would be more fun.

Nov 29 2016 23:03
what kind of project?
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
Nov 29 2016 23:04
a speech where we first have to research the topic using some method.
Jonathan Herman
@lantech19446
Nov 29 2016 23:04
wth?
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
Nov 29 2016 23:05
I understand why. But generally speaking from any group project I've done some students just don't care regardless of the reason.
Jonathan Herman
@lantech19446
Nov 29 2016 23:09
that's like a h.s. assignment though

College is all about researching things.
The class is Public Speaking.
thus the combination.
Jonathan Herman
@lantech19446
Nov 29 2016 23:11
it seemed like an assignment more interested in how you research something than the actual speech I was gonna say most colleges expect you to know how to do research already
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
Nov 29 2016 23:12
You would think so... but nearly every class I've had that involves researching has had some sort of primer. I think it's a rumor started by high school students to get them to pay attention.
But it's a public speaking class, which leads to public speaking in small groups, which leads to using a small group for problem solving, which leads to a group project using a specific method for small group problem solving.

walden you were pretty much just thrown in the deep end you didn't even get an apa primer
sounds like toast masters
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
Nov 29 2016 23:16
xD Should. Toastmasters is all about Public Speaking. Been there, done that.
The first English class in the English track is literally entirely about writing a paper, doing researching and using APA, MLA etc guidelines.

that would have come in kinda handy lol
