It's better to go slow I think xD saves time in the end. Everyone has their own thing they love.

Everyone learns whatever they are interested in. freeCodeCamp teaches web development.

I see - very cool! Lately, I have been working with java spring, and php mvc with bootstrap. Last couple gigs were straight html/js/php
What can I do in return (for instruction)?
correction - straight php was a tertiary responsibility

? Not sure what you are asking. MontCode is a study group where people can meet to discuss things they are learning.
Some people who want to learn web dev are doing freeCodeCamp or the Odin project. Some MontCoders are students at the local community college which is Java focused.
Some people like to talk about more hardware aspects like Arduinos.
MontCode even has a little robot called MontBot.

I don't know if we have many learning php right now but I'm pretty sure we have a few that know it.
I run my house on a raspberry pi xD i <3 home automation.

Spring and Fall are school semesters so it'll all school related stuff right now for me.

I wrote a c/c++ dijkstra algorithm based program a couple months ago that some schools teach. I think school projects are just as fun as business problems!
I regret not taking java courses at MCCC when I had the chance.

Once you have a few languages down, using another is just a matter of figuring out the syntax and rules. Nuttin' special. Which is good. There is so much out there and the pool is getting biggger!

Really! but try explaining that to a hiring manager! : )
Have you worked with assembly, either professional or hobby?
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
Mar 16 2017 22:16
Well, in a job situation you don't have time to learn syntax and rules. But you can do it in the time before the interview. Just saying if you already have a few full languages under the belt, don't need to pay a college for java.

Thanks for the introduction! will look at freecodecamp this evening

If you are already into webdev, it won't be much new. Though you can just do the projects and the algorithms to get the cert. There is also back end and some data viz stuff as well.
