Ha. The most over the top project ever but it's mostly for a portfolio and partly because I love doing fun home automation (as you know) and other crazy home things.
So... it started out. I love loose tea. I've gone crazy lately buying loose tea.
Then I found a loose tea of the month kinda thing.
So I started a spreadsheet. All the teas I've tried and if me and the roomie like it or not.
Then.... the spreadsheet got bigger... price per 2ounce, where it's from etc.
So.... I decided to turn that into a database which i can access from a webapp on a kitchen tablet. "What tea is on hand?" "What tea is caffiene free" "What are the ingredients" "Check a box to order more " "Send Lily and email with all the tea she needs to reorder" "What kind of sweetener works best?"
And once you pick a tea... press a button and a timer auto starts.
That field is a formula. There is a place to set "preferred" brew time. If that's blank, it takes the high end of the steep range (that is the time I usually use).
right now it's the "formula" steep time under preferred steep time as we haven't set any preferred ones xD and won't until the app is running. lol I just don't feel like dealing with the UNDEFs in the code just yet.
