Add the classes animated and hinge to your body element https://www.freecodecamp.org/challenges/use-jquery-to-modify-the-entire-page

You're close with the line that you added:

$("body").addClass("animated fadeOut" "animated" "hinged");

But instead of trying to add the classes separate, add them together within one string with spaces separating them.

Ex: .addClass("animated fadeOut") <-- that's how you add 2 classes

Ahhh, yeah, codepen is popular with fcc
There are many others out there that do a similar thing, but I can see why they like it

If you are more comfortable not writing in CodePen, you can do the projects elsewhere and use github pages to host. The only fCC requirement is that the code can be viewed and the final version can be viewed. CodePen can be easier though as you don’t have to worry about a lot of things and can just focus on the HTML and CSS/JS

codepen actually looks easier to combine the pages. I struggle linking the html and css pages together

If you want to focus on learning the HTML/CSS/JS then I recommend codepen. However, if you want practice to get over the hurdle of struggling with the linking, you can do it outside of codepen and we can help. But, you can always do the first few fCC stuff in codepen and move over later.

One of the great things about self directed learning is that you can analyze where your weakness in knowledge lies and where you want to focus (and not always on the weakness either). One of my favorite parts.

The project 100% meets the criteria of the challenge. It’s up to you from here. Do you want to keep tweaking the code? Does it fullfill the vision you had for the page when you started? Are you happy with how it looks?
