    @SimplyPhy that's the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard, they must be pumping out microsoft engineers lol

    I'm kinda afk today, @lancelot323 is over and we are doin' kitchen things. (makin' beef jerky atm.. well cutting the meat and prepping the marinade. I'll start the jerkifying process tomorrow).

    Ha they didn’t actually say it was too good, I’m just making fun of them. The project specs call you to implement a filter that takes text and searches your location list for matches. I made it so it takes text, finds that text on the map, and accepts a radius input to allow for distance based filtering as well
    so yeah, they’re right, i just thought my way was cooler :D
    (and harder to do)

    I figured it out @Lilyheart thanks

    I was too productive this morning and now I'm bored at work, any suggestions?

    @Lilyheart https://atom.io/packages/copy-paste <- could be very useful
    I'm assuming you already have this one: https://atom.io/packages/pigments
    Lily Romano
    @Lilyheart
    I does! Adam is over visiting so I'll check those out later. Pigments is awesome tho. Git plus has some merge and diff stuff but I don't use much as I do a lot on the cli so I cant speak to them.

    Instead of tryin' to get the screenshot to work, when you type git status the message that appears should give you some indication what is wrong. If you are not sure what the git status message means, googling the message should give you an indication. git status is always the place to start when trying to figure out git. I have company over so I'm not sure how often I will be able to check in.

    @VictorHall
    i went to another chat room and my screen shot worked there
    I was told I didn't have a .git file in my repo so I would have to git init and reset the connection
    Lily Romano
    @Lilyheart
    sounds like that folder was never initialized. Sounds like you got it.

    Time to finish second to last udacity project: about 12 days.
    Time to finish most of the last udacity project: about 3 hours.
    @davidjcastner so far I like Jasmine, though I definitely need more BDD experience to really judge.
    David Castner
    @davidjcastner
    @SimplyPhy if you post you project that uses Jasmine to github, can you share it with me. I would love to take a look
    Eric Phy
    @SimplyPhy
    Sure, though I'm not sure you'll find it impressive 😬
    David Castner
    @davidjcastner
    @SimplyPhy the fact that you are already using BDD having only just started learning web dev is impressive so don't sweat it
    It's something I had to learn the hard way
    Eric Phy
    @SimplyPhy
    Thanks, I actually have udacity to thank full-heartedly for it
    I don’t think I even encountered bdd in my research prior to be directly told to learn it
    David Castner
    @davidjcastner
    Testing is extremely important (and it doesn't seem like it at first, but as a project grows or you have to maintain it) and it's way easier to use the approach of test first develop after rather than develop first test after
    Eric Phy
    @SimplyPhy
    Yeah, and it's nice that the test suite remains active as the app grows, so you know you're not breaking old features with new ones
    Eric Phy
    @SimplyPhy
    @Lilyheart @davidjcastner any idea how to remove indentation on a line in markdown/
    David Castner
    @davidjcastner
    What type on indentation. Markdown is made not to be customizable on purpose so chances are the answer is "its not possible"
