@TScottM12
hello
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
I need to get over the bug or whatever it is. It's affecting my sleep, and affecting my sleep affects my ears and head.
Jonathan Herman
@lantech19446
what are you doing for it?
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
'ello Scott. Welcome back (I wanna say... memory is blarg today)
KR62
@KR62
So I went to Rosemont last week and met up with the fellows at BSD Code academy, met with Mike and JP. That's how I got introduced to CSS & CodePen.
Jonathan Herman
@lantech19446
what is BSD code academy?
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
looks like coding, robotics and design on the Main Line.
So outside of Montgomery County (Mont Co... MontCode xD ) so something I'm not familiar with :p
KR62
@KR62
Whoever cares to check out my artwork I have 3 sites listed on Codepen, I would love it if you guys would check it out. I'd like to figure out a way to code similar geometric designs.
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
It's gonna be a lot of math. Did you see the links Mike posted on your Facebook post?
I heard Khan Academy has some good math courses.
KR62
@KR62
No, not yet, I have to look at them.
Apparently there is an awesome fractal app on the iPhone called Frax. But I have Android.
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
We have a few iPhone users in the group that might be able to check it out for you but I don't know if any are on right now.
KR62
@KR62
that's cool.
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
I can see if I can coerce my roommate into trying it.
Jonathan Herman
@lantech19446
lol
KR62
@KR62
Has anyone ever coded a kaleidoscope program? the one on Sumopaint is superb, you can manipulate the center point and all of the parameters.
_
Sumopaint is equivalent to Photoshop, only it's online and free.
Jonathan Herman
@lantech19446
I couldn't even draw it let alone program it lol
Eric Phy
@SimplyPhy
ha I forgot about sumopaint xD
hey @KR62 and @TedTyree_twitter
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
No, but I was wondering if you could use paper.js and do something on a webpage. found this link
Eric Phy
@SimplyPhy
I’m in the middle of something, but ill give a peak at everything soon
@KR62 I might explore fractals to help build crystal growth functions on a future project :fire:
check these guys out, Roger and Michael, their work is the epitome of what I would like to do...fractals in motion to music. Especially covering the wall of a home!
