no, more complex than that. Monkey's fist is just a box.

Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
I posted a link that is a good introduction to it.

@KR62
yes, those 2 are the ones I wanted you to see. They are fun to make. Called Turks Head knots.
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
would be interesting to figure out the math behind them so they can be turned into an algorithm that can be used in something like paper.js

Just like the soul, the spirit.....infinite loops, don't know where they start, don't know where they end. Life, like energy is never ending.
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
But not now... I already have two math classes goin'
:laughing: :cry:

Thank you very much Lily and Jon for this time, much appreciated.

np, you'll have to let me know what you think of shibari too.
KR62
@KR62
Oh yea, I looked it up real quick, now you're talking about tying people up!!
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
I don't mind a little non-coding chat in MontCode chat, but just remember if something gets too involved or you don't want it public, there is private chat.
It's the art of tying people up xD Get it straight!
KR62
@KR62
Yep, I'm done, goodnight.
Jonathan Herman
@lantech19446
I just think it's gorgeous some of them take hours upon hours to do and years to learn there's guys out there who have tied someone up and then made a tree out of the rope
KR62
@KR62
Wow, super neat.
Jonathan Herman
@lantech19446
yea other than that the only other knots I've ever tied were for bringing people up hills in baskets

@KR62
Look up Turks Head knots. They're fun and easy. Some of them have multiple layouts, such as flat, around a sphere like a ball and also like a ring, like a napkin holder.
Lily Romano
@Lilyheart
ooooh napkin holders.
I may have to commision some from you to go with my kitchen.
Jonathan Herman
@lantech19446
lol none of us are going to be coding soon we'll all be selling turks head knots on etsy
KR62
@KR62
What do you call it when one solution can take on different forms? Like a chameleon changing colors.
