    I promise I'm not trying to be difficult by not just giving you the answer. Understanding how file paths work is crucial , vital and very very important so if you are wanting to switch to a comp sci major, it's something you need to figure out and know <3

    Hello everyone....when the heck is this brutal wind going to die down, Argh! Need to put out the recycles and don't want the stuff blowing over into the street. Already saw that tonight. Anyway, I need help with JavaScript. I love doing it on the Khan Academy, it's easy and straightforward. But when I try doing it on Codepen it's not working. What's the difference between the two?

    It looks like there are a few bits missing but canvas isn't my strong suit. I'll try to give it a gander tomorrow if someone else doesn't swoop in and figure out first. @SimplyPhy and @davidjcastner might be able to see the specific issue quicker xD Otherwise, tomorrow during chat time i'll figure out.

    @KR62 KA imports a library of canvas functions for you; I forgot what it is but it should tell you in one of the first js lessons, or you could google it.
    So yeah, the rect() and some other stuff like that aren't browser functions, they're imported (someone else wrong them), and you have access to call them in the KA environment.

    I had to add a library to the JS script. Someone at HelpJavaScript gave me the link, I plugged it in and now my Pens work, Yay!! I'm psyched. Take a look.

    ha. and in math i'm learning about calculating triangle bits so all i'm seeing are things like SSS and SSA and ASA (a=angle, s=side) so first i was like triangle what?

    I think they already tried - there was a fire in a power transformer in their main HQ building a couple of weeks back and pretty much everything was down for 24 hours!
