    @Ryzilynt
    Like dpkg —search | egrep “^q*” doesn’t work
    No no sorry , separate classes hehe
    G7470
    @G7470
    Hmm, not really sure. I'm not familiar with using Debian
    Lily Romano
    @Lilyheart
    I can check on my computer at home in the morning Robert. I'm on campus now tho :/
    maybe @lantech19446 will know the answer if I can summon him.
    Lily Romano
    @Lilyheart
    @Ryzilynt on the off chance my memory is right (hahahahahahaha) try dpkg --list | grep "^q*"
    maybe that's just for installed tho. I don't get much of a chance to used linux when class is in session.

    @ccziriak
    hey all
    had power off for electrical work
    G7470
    @G7470
    Hey @ccziriak
    Always stinks when the power is out. At least it was intentional haha
    ccz
    @ccziriak
    Yeah - getting new 240V circuit installed for EV charging station - but it's not done yet.
    Lily Romano
    @Lilyheart
    No more fighting xD
    ccz
    @ccziriak
    lol - yeah we can each get completely charged in about 4 hours when it's installed
    Robert Marcy
    @Ryzilynt
    Thanks! I’m going to try that in a second
    Working on updates ... 1%
    G7470
    @G7470
    Yuck, updates. Debian?
    Robert Marcy
    @Ryzilynt
    Naw, it’s that big new win 10 update. I️ run Linux in a virtual machine
    And Apple still wants to autocorrect i to I️
    “Fall creators update”
    Lily Romano
    @Lilyheart
    that update is so useless on the surface. messed up the pen real good in onenote. such a hassle
    Robert Marcy
    @Ryzilynt
    Yeah I’m getting a weird crackle from my speakers now :a
    So i have been honing this command for a while now /sigh .. I’m close with : dpkg —list | awk ‘{print $2}’ | egrep “^q*”
    It gives me the results I️ want but with the desired items in an overall list highlighted red. I️ just want it to return the items
    G7470
    @G7470
    Did you figure this out @Ryzilynt?
    Adeline Johnson
    @Addie27
    Hi guys! I completed my tribute page in free code camp. I have to warn you this is my first webpage and it is not responsive. Can you take a look and let me know what you think? https://codepen.io/addie27/pen/pdPpxP
    Jonathan Herman
    @lantech19446
    well done addie
    Robert Marcy
    @Ryzilynt
    Niiiice!
    Lily Romano
    @Lilyheart
    That's fantastic @Addie27 ! I think that accomplishes your goal for the project and some!
    For some feedback, you still have some styling in your html like image sizing etc. Your class names are decent except you might want something more descriptive for your image classes. I would probably combine those two feedback items and refactor the code to have two classes. class="imageleft" and imageright and then those classes would have your sizing and floats in them.
    Adeline Johnson
    @Addie27
    Thanks Lily! I appreciate all of your help and feedback :)
    Thanks for checking it out!
    Robert Marcy
    @Ryzilynt
    That and it doesn’t scale to mobile, at least not safari.
    Adeline Johnson
    @Addie27
    Ugh I know - I am going to try and work on that for my next project, the portfolio. Then go back and update it so that is scales.
    G7470
    @G7470

    Nicely done @Addie27! For a first webpage, that's a really good job! Certainly a whole lot better than my first webpage. /jealous

    I like the use of the <header> tag in order to separate out your HTML content. You would be surprised how uncommon that is used

    G7470
    @G7470
    Hello all! What is everyone working on tonight?
    ccz
    @ccziriak
    Hey @G7470 - I'm learning WordPress Genesis framework child theme development tonight. What are you working on?
    G7470
    @G7470
    Probably going to do some research for work tomorrow. I have a work meeting tomorrow regarding a project that I don't know much about
    Lily Romano
    @Lilyheart
    Sounds like guy guys xD. Better than studying for non CS things.
    ccz
    @ccziriak
    Hey @Lilyheart
    did you do something to fix the montco.de/chat link? it wasn't working when I tried to connect - timed out - and I had to use the gitter.im link
    but I just tried it again and it worked
    G7470
    @G7470
    I just had to look up Genesis Framework. Had no idea what it was haha
    ccz
    @ccziriak
    I'm having trouble finding current training on more advanced custom development topics. A lot of the courses are older and some things aren't working as described with newer versions of WP and Genesis.
    Lily Romano
    @Lilyheart
    @ccziriak I didn't do anything. Without seeing it, I'm not sure where it happened. montco.de/chat goes through a url shortener program (Yourls). Could be something at dreamhost (the host) or something. /shrug
    Adeline Johnson
    @Addie27
    @G7470 Thanks for taking a look and the positive feedback!
    Lily Romano
    @Lilyheart
    What kind of coding mischief is everyone getting up to?
    G7470
    @G7470
    Tonight - probably not much mischief from me, lol. Gonna get set up so that I can experiment with the arduino stuff later on this week or next week. Haven't really had the time lately!
    ccz
    @ccziriak
    Hey all. Learning how implement custom stuff in WordPress Genesis child theme I'm creating from scratch.
    G7470
    @G7470
    Nice @ccziriak!
