In fact, most of the stuff on my GitHub is mirrored from my GitLab.

I just agreed to @Chris7 that we'd migrate from launchpad to github
Now there's a new thing just as we're ready to migrate
Haha this is hilarious. I'm getting pop-ups from Gitter that it's having trouble communicating. This is the first time I've ever gotten them.

I like gitlab as well. They have some thungs github doesn't (but are missing some things github has, too)

It's probably nice, and it's open-source. I'd like to get more people involved in Mudlet dev though, and moving off the more popular platform won't facilitate that, so eh.

They have an open source base and some closed source additions, which can be used when you paid for a license.
Gitlab.com is that paid version btw

Sounds like Travis.org (free) vs Travis.com ($$$)

not quite. They allow the use of the hosted full version of gitlab.com for free. But if you want to host that version yourself, you have to pay
hosting gitlab CE (community edition)yourself is free
