    Yeah, nasty...
    Oh it's way up north
    Airlie beach and stuff. Not in Brisbane

    @dicene I've found https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typedef to be a super helpful read

    Damnit, my password manager has figured out that the master password for it and Google are the same. Now I have to change them.

    Well I was sitting out in the garden (was going to go for a spot of out-door programming, but got distracted by trying to watch the Cambridge vs. Oxford University Boat Race - only to find that I didn't have Flash on the Laptop I was used - so I thought lets ssh -Y into my Desktop machine and run FireFox from there as I know Flash is on THAT machine - then realised that although I could get vision the sound was being played on the Desktop machine up stairs and that a running pulse-audio server from it would eat into the LAN bandwidth (and was showing worrying signs of multi-casting outside towards my ISP and the 'Net) - then spent a while updating the Laptop and cleaning the keyboard of my main Desktop PC whilst that was going on...

    A word to the curious, if you are going to clean all the fluff/hair/dust/food crumbs/dirt off of a keyboard - allow plenty of time for it even if it is one that the key tops can be unclipped from easily, it takes ages to do, OTOH I have a nice clean, now unsoiled keyboard! :grinning:

    http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/washable-keyboard-k310 my keyboard for the last many years, works great and I can give a weekly wash under the kitchen tap

    repology/repology#198 that one homebrew guy is a little odd

    What is the IP rating on that keyboard - only tolerates immersion to 300mm?

    OTOH The Logitech stuff can be quite good: My second hand K360 Wireless one has proven remarkable robust, I was unloaded my Laptop bag from the car on the Cross-Channel ferry last year and it slipped out the side and fell several meters down onto the metal loading ramp that I had just driven up into the hold of the Ferry, the battery cover and the batteries fell off/out and the case got a few scratches but after reassembling it is still working fine (I was typing on it with the 'Doze laptop in the garden some minutes ago but came instead to check something on my primary (Linux) PC)...

    Wow, that's a great quality huh.

    Any chance of making a new Forum Development Sub-Forum e.g. "I18n of Mudlet" and moving Mudlet 4.0 internalization roadmap to there as a Sub-forum starter?
    Vadim Peretokin
    @vadi2
    I don't think we need an entire subforum for it yet, but if we start getting overwhelmed with threads, I'll reconsider

    Windows decided yesterday was another good day to change my bootloader from grub to their own and my normal way to repair didn't work... Had to play around for far too long to repair grub :(
    Vadim Peretokin
    @vadi2
    Haha wow
    I am so glad wiped it entirely and stuffed into a virtualbox on my work laptop
    Could not afford to have it not work when I needed it to

    @keneanung
    :( I wish more AAA games would be available for linux
    Vadim Peretokin
    @vadi2
    Yeah for sure, more the better
    I'm back to Total War Warhammer though so that's another AAA title!
    keneanung
    @keneanung
    That and my tax program are the only reasons to have windows at all
    I'm still gnawing away at Assassins Creed: Syndicate when I have time and need a graphics game
    Vadim Peretokin
    @vadi2
    Ohh I wanted to play the AC version that has ship battles
    keneanung
    @keneanung
    Black Flag and 3 have ships.
    I actually liked all of them
    Sometimes I also play stronghold crusader (works through wine, yay!) or Shadow Warriors: Blades of the Shogun, which runs natively on Linux, yay!
    erm... Shadow tactics
    Vadim Peretokin
    @vadi2
    I have 100+ linux games in my library...
    Though I poured most of the time into Dota 2 for the last few years. That's native too!
    I used to run Crossover before but with so many native games I don't have it anymore
    I was thinking I'd get Windows again just to play with VR. I've got the money to buy a Vive. Time - not so much
    keneanung
    @keneanung
    I only have 15 linux games :(
    Vadim Peretokin
    @vadi2
    I just bought Shadow of Mordor yesterday too. Heard it's a great game, and it's native. Pretty much only ever bought native since humble bundles came out
    Selection_026.png
    That's just my downloaded ones atm!
    keneanung
    @keneanung
    But I don't have the time to play much lately, anyways

    Slack insisting on single ` instead of two `` like everyone else just annoys me
    That's my contribution for the day

    Did you know IRE is coming out with a new MUD
    It'll be interesting to see how Mudlet does there. IRE has very capable Javascript-powered clients now and Starmourn will be a brand new MUD
    Ahmed Charles
    @ahmedcharles
    Interesting.
    They probably have an advantage.
    Vadim Peretokin
    @vadi2
    I think I'll help out Mudlet users there by porting their UI to Mudlet again just like I did with Nexus
    That'll help get Mudlet get started there
    Ahmed Charles
    @ahmedcharles
    They can just write a client that reads out-of-band data and produce a custom graphical client.
    Vadim Peretokin
    @vadi2
    They do, thankfully it's all GMCP based
    Just have to decode the undocumented features they add to it
    Ahmed Charles
    @ahmedcharles
    yeah
