@StamBoom rn, the player's location is not updated -> chunks are not loaded, player is teleported when he steps off the boat ... :/ why isn't vehicle_move mapped to a player_position (servervound) ? Fields are the same (except for onGround) and it should work*
@StamBoom *should -> I've tried to map it, and at some point, it just breaks. Player sends it's own position, with an offset, and it ends up being an infinite teleport glitch

You can use protocollib for 1.9 to look what packets are sent and received one spigot 1.9
The documentation on the wiki and wiki.vg is sometimes inaccurate

I use bungeecord to print packets I want to look (and my protocol hack is bungee side) ;)
Thing is, at some point in time, client sends a "Player Pos & Loc" with X: 19 and "Vehicle Move" with X:25... Just, why ?!

I dropped support for minecarts/boats and now everything is working fine. Next issue : bows. When shooting with 1.9, I think the cooldown ("use item" -> "shoot") is reduced, and my anti cheat tells me it's not ok

Yeah, I like it. (not some other projects ... o/ ).
Packet : Window Property (0x15 in 1.9).
In 1.8 : properties 4, 5, 6 are used and contain "enchId | level << 8", in 1.9 properties 4,5,6 hold the ench ID and 7, 8, 9 the level

I think for bigger servers it's a lot more important than you may think, though :)

It's useful because if players unload chunks with NPCs, we need to know when to re-send them, and there is no event in Bukkit for this (a single hub server can have ~100 people)

No, it's a packet that was sent in 1.8 and is no more sent in 1.9 :( in this case, it's not a removed packet
