Do you know how to move a npc legit? (Walking)
Mats
@Matsv
Jul 06 2016 19:08
Probably using Entity relative move http://wiki.vg/Protocol#Entity_Relative_Move
There are a lot of npc libs out on spigot that support pathfinding
You might want to check those out

It's to easy to use a lib for every shit :D
If something isn't hard it wouldn't make fun. :D

In this chat you get more help than in spigot irc with 300+ users :D
Mats
@Matsv
Jul 06 2016 19:15
The spigot irc is probably the better place for this kind of questions though
or the forums
Florian

On spigot you only get following answers:
"Look on wiki.vg"
"Use a api"
or
"Piss out of the irc you fucking noob and stop asking dumb questions."
Or you get ignored because nobody knows the answer.
If I ask people which doesn't get spammed with dumb questions I get serious answers ^^

I'm making changes to the decompiled code of a closed-source plugin, does anyone know if there's a way to keep these changes when the plugin updates?
I'm unsure if git patches are the right solution
Myles
@MylesIsCool
Jul 06 2016 21:21
Well
depends what file it is
you can just make class files
copy them in each update
but that could break
git patches is the right solution though

Hmm
I mean I could just write down everything I change and then re-do it
That would avoid breakage
I was trying to see how CraftBukkit (Spigot) changes stuff in MC server
The plugin (KingdomsPlus)'s code sucks anyway
If I have to make any more changes to it, I'll probably give into the urge to recode it
