@sgdc3 So that's the issue? It seems it isn't decompiling the 1.8.8 JAR, so it fails to apply the patch to MinecraftServer.java
Gabriele C.
@sgdc3
Aug 18 2016 23:38

I searched the issue on Google and the BuildTools thread was the first result, they said it was a issue with autocrlf but even after trying to change the autocrlf (whatever, idk what is the name) it didn't work

Gabriele C.
@sgdc3
Aug 18 2016 23:50

yeah
MrPowerGamerBR
@MrPowerGamerBR
Aug 18 2016 23:50
But it would be an hassle to transfer my edits to the server just to test something
Gabriele C.
@sgdc3
Aug 18 2016 23:50
that would solve the cp issue anyway
MrPowerGamerBR
@MrPowerGamerBR
Aug 18 2016 23:51
(Because I want to port some newer Paper 1.9/1.10 patches to Paper 1.8.8)
git checkout ver/1.8.8
Gabriele C.
@sgdc3
Aug 18 2016 23:52
that would be very interesting ;)
MrPowerGamerBR
@MrPowerGamerBR
Aug 18 2016 23:52
sh ./build.sh
@sgdc3 Torch already backports some 1.9/1.10 patches to 1.8.8, but they aren't focusing on 1.8.8
And I already ported some 1.8/1.9/1.10 patches to 1.7.10, so I have a bit of "experience"
(Experience = trying to figure out what is that method/variable in 1.7.10 and hoping that the code won't crash the server)
@sgdc3 ./decompile.sh: line 14: jar: command not found
Failed to extract NMS classes.

MrPowerGamerBR
@MrPowerGamerBR
Aug 18 2016 23:59
I can't use "jar" on the command prompt
But what if I copy jar.exe to the Paper folder?
Gabriele C.
@sgdc3
Aug 18 2016 23:59
