to use build file
there is a defult one
and then you can add a custom one to a project
this way you can modyfiy every thing
the build perms
you can add your own compiler any thing
with out ever totching os dev kit source
and it in project file
so if you download a project file
the build file go with it

So, like Makefile then?
Emile Badenhorst
@MyvarHD
Aug 25 2015 13:30
yes but one that is in jason
and fully intergrates with ide

@ARMmaster17
Aug 25 2015 13:31

So this solves the NuGet problem?
Emile Badenhorst
@MyvarHD
Aug 25 2015 13:32
what nuget problem ?
this is all you can use in file:
/*
           {name} = only name;
           {buildedname} = special name for build folder;
           {filepath} = current file
           {build} = build folder path with \
           {img} = builded image file
           {include} = include folder

           {opt} = opt
           {dls} = defuly linker sript,
           {buildfilels} = custom linker script
           {nasm} = nasm loc
           {gcc} = gcc loc
           {g++} = g++ loc
           {fbc} = fbc loc
           {ld} = ld loc
           {git} = GrubImageTool loc
           {qemu} = qemu loc
       */

I thought you said this was to fix the build errors
Emile Badenhorst
@MyvarHD
Aug 25 2015 13:33
no
this is build code
for ide
to build an os source code
Joshua Zenn
@ARMmaster17
Aug 25 2015 13:33
Oh, my bad. I didn't realize you meant the compiler in the IDE
Emile Badenhorst
@MyvarHD
Aug 25 2015 13:33
next i will add ability to import an os from source
Joshua Zenn
@ARMmaster17
Aug 25 2015 13:33
Ok, now that all makes sense
What do you mean?
Emile Badenhorst
@MyvarHD
Aug 25 2015 13:33
so say you have an os
you alkredy wrote
but compiles with a make file
or bat
or sh'
wat ever
you can import it into an os dev project
Joshua Zenn
@ARMmaster17
Aug 25 2015 13:34
Nice, that sounds like a good feature
Emile Badenhorst
@MyvarHD
Aug 25 2015 13:35
then i will try to make a build file, that can build the very first public release of linux
in osdevkit
the build file editor need to be compilited
Joshua Zenn
@ARMmaster17
Aug 25 2015 13:35
That's definitely a big milestone
Emile Badenhorst
@MyvarHD
Aug 25 2015 13:35
if your up for it ?
it just an editor that allows you to edit the build file of the current project'
