warrior
@warrior41519569_twitter
yes this time from galapagos directory
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
Okay, rm -rf ./project/project/ ./project/target/
I think project might have gotten corrupted when you ran SBT in there before
warrior
@warrior41519569_twitter
still the same error :/
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
:cry:
warrior
@warrior41519569_twitter
google the saviour :P
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
Yeah, seems like the right answer here
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
If it helps you to move forward, you can probably just delete that project/GalapagosAssets.scala file, and then go into build.sbt and remove the line GalapagosAssets.settings. It's very weird that it's not working how it's supposed to, and maybe indicative of some more fundamental problem with your SBT setup—somehow?—but it might be worth a shot. Deleting stuff is fun and easy, at least. :wink:
And you can always get that stuff back with git checkout, of course
warrior
@warrior41519569_twitter
this worked :D but there are some compilation errors when i run command "run" in terminal i will get back to you in few minutes
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
Okay, cool
when i try to compile this is what i am getting
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle

Very weird. This line:

[warn] Host repo1.maven.org not found. url=http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/scala-lang/scala-library/2.11.8/scala-library-2.11.8.pom

This shouldn't be happening. That URL is valid. You can access it from your browser, even.

warrior
@warrior41519569_twitter
does not work :/
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
What is it that you tried?
warrior
@warrior41519569_twitter
1.sudo sbt // this works fine
2.-Dhttp.proxyHost=<proxy> -Dhttp.proxyPort=<port>
3.run
also tried
run -Dsbt.repository.secure=false
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
But the person isn't suggesting writing -Dhttp.proxyHost=<proxy> -Dhttp.proxyPort=<port> literally. The suggestion is that you fill in <proxy> and <port> based on how your proxy is configured. Are you certain that you're behind a proxy, to begin with?
If you are, I might suggest even just turning off the proxy for a minute (if you can), or waiting until you're on a network that isn't behind the proxy, and then running run or update in SBT to get the dependencies
warrior
@warrior41519569_twitter
yeah i am begind behind and yeah i have filled in proxy based on how my proxy is configured <"p*"> <"**"> i want to keep it anonymous on public channel
is turning off proxy the only solution ?
i will have to connect my system to mobile data
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
It's probably not the only solution
And to be clear, I think you're not supposed to include the angle brackets (i.e. < and >) in the actual values
Which is to say that it should be something like -Dhttp.proxyHost=abc.proxy.org -Dhttp.proxyPort=10101
warrior
@warrior41519569_twitter
hmm may be this should have worked but now i have connected to my mobile data (no proxy issues) and till now it's running fine i guess now it won't show any errors hopefully anyways thanks for all the help :D

@TheBizzle

Awesome
Syed Shariq Ali
@syedshariq-a
Hi I would like to work on NetLogo/Tortoise#182
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
Hi, @syedshariq-a . Serialization of widgets is handled in this package. It can be tested by going to the root of your local copy of the Tortoise repo, opening SBT (by running ./sbt), and running tortoiseJS/testOnly *WidgetToJsonTest*. Instructions for enabling building local versions of Galapagos and Tortoise can be found here and here
Let me know if you have other questions
Camden Clark
@CamdenClark
Hi!
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
Howdy!
Shubham Shree
@shubhamshree10

After running

sbt
then running
run

I get following error

[trace] Stack trace suppressed: run last web-assets:mappings for the full output.
[error] (web-assets:mappings) Unable to find ImageMagick's convert utility:
[error] Please ensure ImageMagick is installed and available on your $PATH

Anyone, successful with setting up Galapagos on Win 10 ?

Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
@shubhamshree10, ImageMagick isn't really necessary. It just generates the favicon for the project. You can delete the file project/GalapagosAssets.scala to get around this problem
Shubham Shree
@shubhamshree10
THanks @TheBizzle , But It didn't work
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
What happened?
Shubham Shree
@shubhamshree10
I simply copied the file convert.exe to my Galapagos folder, And everything is working fine
@TheBizzle I'm unable to run sbt after deleting , but now after restoring that file It's Okay
Shubham Shree
@shubhamshree10
I'm working on extensions, just a query I'm unable to see example extensions working/opening in netlogo web....
anyone else facing this problem ?
From models library
Bryan Head
@qiemem
so, while extensions for netlogo web are being worked on, the extensions for netlogo desktop do not work in netlogo web
Shubham Shree
@shubhamshree10
So, how do we test the extensions made by ourselves ?
Bryan Head
@qiemem
to clarify you made an extension for netlogo web? not netlogo?
Shubham Shree
@shubhamshree10
netlogo web
Diparth Shah
@diparthshah
How do we add new ractive events which is known to the rest of galapagos project ?
Jason Bertsche
@TheBizzle
@diparthshah, please NetLogo/Galapagos@112e23f for an example
Diparth Shah
@diparthshah
