so last version of NEthereum works with last version of parity?
or should I be aware of the best versions to choose from each?

Hi Andreas, it should be fine, only the extra features from geth won't be supported.

well, actually, it doesn't work, geth returns a size: attrib in the json that is a hex
and parity returns an int (even in --geth mode)
with Parity/v1.3.0-beta/x86_64-linux-gnu/rustc1.10.0
version of NEthereum: 1.0
version of geth> 1.4.12-stable

I don't think we should put an if check for parity mode in Nethereum, probably better to raise an issue in Parity. Can you do that ?
As you know where the error occurs exactly

ok, my colleagues fucked up a bit, told me they were using the last version, and it was actually the last version released this monday... but in between, parity 1.3.1 has been released, which is very likely that has this fixed
just by looking at this two transactions: ethcore/parity#2169

Yes, I raised this issue with parity, I believe it's fixed in 1.3.1 but haven't had a chance to check yet due to Devcon.
