Has anyone started or would be interested, in a full .Net client that would replace GETH? I see a few attempts on GitHub.
Would be a micro service, RPC incoming calls and either a WebAPI REST service to consume, or RPC. Decoupled repo.

Nethereum will do (more or less) this
EVM started
@bitcoinbrisbane ^^
there are not any attempts really in .Net if you look at the history of the projects

you will want to comply with standards, hence the EEA
pointless to work in a completely direction

@bitcoinbrisbane just checked your bitpoker project very cool, do you want to use it as a private chain / consortium regulated gambling?
why not use Quorum?
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Apr 07 2017 05:51

@juanfranblanco re microservice. I mean the client would be an Owin or Kestral based program. Happy to join other efforts if they exist. Im just not happy with GETH to be honest.

ETH makes it a lot easier, with an ERC Token as a chip.

yes also the beauty of the EVM and capability to target all chains
(which support it ;) )

Turns are sent to participants, off chain. Signed, referencing the previous. Any player, willing to pay the gas, can then push the messages to the contract, to award the pot.
Thinking of crowd selling chips :)

Oops, big image
Ive written some helpers / extension methods too for Nethereum. Parse ABI / Byte files off disk to strings. Will make a pull request soon.

Hi all, would appreciate some help with 2 points Im stuck in. 1. Can clients generate wallets offline via nethereum? 2. How can I show the private key of a users account like myetherwallet does? Thanks for your time.

@juanfranblanco I have a quick question. How do I solve this error? Nethereum.JsonRpc.Client.RpcResponseException : Intrinsic gas too low
Juan Blanco

Apr 07 2017 16:53
@Bennett-farley you need to put more gas, your transaction cost is higher
when sending the transaction use as gas something like new HexBigInteger(900000)
@omnissiah let me know how it goes.. if you have any issues to improve the sample and put it in docs
if no issues, don't worry ;)

Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco

just put the amount on the transaction input
Bennett-farley
@Bennett-farley
Apr 07 2017 17:09

If someone sends me wei, is there a way to get the address of the sender?
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco

@juan
@juanfranblanco Do you have a SQL script for the table structure?
If not, i will create one and post it for you
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Apr 07 2017 19:12
that uses azure storage
(table storage)
but you can "plug in" a sql server repository
Bennett-farley
@Bennett-farley
Apr 07 2017 19:12
I'm with you, just wondering if you had SQL script.
