juanfranblanco: that's useful thanks!
BTW, I'm having a 403 when using MyEtherWallet API with NEthereum, any ideas? https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/questions/16057/getting-a-403-forbidden-when-trying-to-call-myetherapi-with-nethereum it's probably something really stupid

@juanfranblanco testrpc is not already running in the background. Node is in /usr/local/bin which is in the path.

@knocte was it the issue the need to add the suffix?
eth?
@olibd The runner embeds testrpc on the dll and uses node to launch it
only issue I have encountered is having many instances of testrpc running already, hence is necessary to dispose it and close it correctly, or not having node installed and set in the path correctly

@juanfranblanco I think it might have something to do with node. When I redirect the testrpc to the debug window, I can see that test rpc fails to launch because of an unhandled error event

`events.js:160
throw er; // Unhandled 'error' event
^

Error: write EPIPE
at exports._errnoException (util.js:1022:11)
at WriteWrap.afterWrite [as oncomplete] (net.js:804:14)`

im running macOS Sierra
