Hi @juanfranblanco can you please have a look to my message about unity and watching events? Thanks!
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Oct 20 2017 11:23
what message?
doh
seen it
it will be the same
but instead you will use the unity request classes
Fernando Garcia
@fergarrui
Oct 20 2017 12:26
The UnityRequest class, I see. What about all those "await"s? We cannot use them in Unity, right?
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Oct 20 2017 12:26
no
well depends
you can use Nethereum out of the box
in platform that support 4.6
hence the port
now in the similar way as the sample
you can create NewFilterInputs
Fernando Garcia
@fergarrui
Oct 20 2017 12:28
I'll double check the sample again, but yeah got confused with all those awaits... hmm...
What was the class you mentioned about unityrequest?
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Oct 20 2017 12:28
mainly the requests take a different form for unity
as they do the yielding etc
Fernando Garcia
@fergarrui
Oct 20 2017 12:29
I tried to search it in your flappy bird example for unity but didn't see any event processing/watching
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Oct 20 2017 12:29
yeah there is no sample for htat
Fernando Garcia
@fergarrui
Oct 20 2017 12:29
ok, i'll have another look
thanks a lot :)
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Oct 20 2017 12:30
so in a very basic form you do this
so for an event lets pick EthGetLogs
you can do the same
Fernando Garcia
@fergarrui
Oct 20 2017 12:31
oh, so I can do the same thing with EthGetLogs? interesting
thanks a lot!!
Fernando Garcia
@fergarrui
Oct 20 2017 12:32
So I need to have a background task checking the logs all the time I guess
and then do whatever I want to do when I receive a certain event
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Oct 20 2017 12:33
yes obviusly
you that already really with the coroutines
Fernando Garcia
@fergarrui
Oct 20 2017 12:33
great
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Oct 20 2017 12:33
but EthGethLogs is an option
Fernando Garcia
@fergarrui
Oct 20 2017 12:34
If I set an empty filter input
I will read all the event types, right?
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Oct 20 2017 12:34
EthNewFilterUnityRequest
you need to pass at least a blockrange
and that will be limited by the client
Fernando Garcia
@fergarrui
Oct 20 2017 12:34
perfect
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Oct 20 2017 12:35
but you need to know what events you need as usual
Fernando Garcia
@fergarrui
Oct 20 2017 12:35
I'll try this afternoon

Hei, im trying to use the StandardTokenService but after calling GetTotalSupplyAsync<ulong>() i get no response. Alos i notice that in output window i get message: Exception thrown: 'Nethereum.JsonRpc.Client.RpcResponseException' in System.Private.CoreLib.dll . Any way i can debug this and figure out what exactly is going wrong?
Im using https://mainnet.infura.io for the node

Have you already made a successfull call to the contract? And have right address?
Have you done any other actions not contract specific like getbalance successfully
Step one is the rpc itself connected
Step 2 eth.getCode(contractaddress) != 0x0
Step 3 goto definition make sure your calling the right overload
