Hello, all. I seem to have problem with connecting Nethereum to my private ethereum net in azure (I can connect to it with geth attach http://.. just fine, so it's not a connectivity problem)

Is this the correct way to connect to RPC nodes?

Nevermind, apparently it connects ok. Didn't realize you need to get Value of HexBigIntegers :)

I find this way
var receipt = await web3.Eth.Transactions.GetTransactionReceipt.SendRequestAsync(transactionHash);
                while (receipt == null)
                {
                    Thread.Sleep(1000);
                    receipt = await web3.Eth.Transactions.GetTransactionReceipt.SendRequestAsync(transactionHash);
                }
any one known receipt.Status.Value codes ?

if you are using portable add 1.8.1.1
if not use Nethereum.Web3 instead which is netstandard 1.1
Arthur Tazhitdinov
@osteotek
Feb 27 2018 09:40

Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Feb 27 2018 09:41
yeah
netstandard is the way
that is a bit old .net core app?
Arthur Tazhitdinov
@osteotek
Feb 27 2018 09:43
yeah, I know. Don't want to bother with migrating now, If that can be avoided
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Feb 27 2018 09:44
understand
try 1.8.1.1 top of my head cannot remember if that solved the issue only for Portable
as they one that normally complain on some environments (ie Android)

How to append multiple commands in single cmd line?
able to init dev_genesis.json
but simply adding "console" after will not open interactive geth
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Feb 27 2018 16:57
you want to init first
and then run the geth command
check the batch files
for clique in the testchain folder
BradenPorter
@BradenPorter
Feb 27 2018 21:11
Alright, testchain appears to be up and running now, had to dedicate a lot more ram
geth --datadir=devChain init genesis_dev.jsongeth --nodiscover --rpc --datadir=devChain --rpccorsdomain "*" --mine --rpcapi "eth,web3,personal,net,miner,admin,debug" --unlock 0x12890d2cce102216644c59daE5baed380d84830c --password "pass.txt" --verbosity 0 consolePAUSE
^This resulted in no errors for my batch file :)
