did I read it right that these new Neth versions don't depend anymore on EdjCase.JsonRpc.* ?

@juanfranblanco cool thanks, will upgrade to 2.3.1 soon; BTW, how can I estimate the gas that a transaction will take, if I'm doing a call to a smart contract? (in particular I want to estimate how much a token transfer is going to cost)

Hi, I don't know what I am doing wrong. I installed geth, it is running at a cmd prompt, I can see data coming in with the latest blocknumber , but in code i read blocknumber 0... var web3 = new Web3("http://localhost:8545");
var test = await web3.Eth.Blocks.GetBlockNumber.SendRequestAsync().ConfigureAwait(false); Isn't it easy like this?

@FVE999_twitter yes thats it
@knocte you can use "function".EstimateAsync passing the same values
or you can use the command handler for that

also if you use the cqs and dont pass and any gas it will automatically estimate for you
