@DangNghia123_twitter Nethereum manages your nonces
you should be able to do it out of the box
just keep the same instance of Web3

how can i get the latest block number using nethereum? i need to find transactions in that block against my address, how can i achieve this using nethereum c#
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 05:48
web3.Eth.GetBlockNumber().SendReqquestAsync()
check rpc
check the rpc docs in Ethereum for info on all the requests

@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 05:49
i tried this, but its returning 0 always.
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 05:49
thats why asked here
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 05:49
are you mining?
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 05:49
no
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 05:49
well then your blocknumber is not going to increase
what testnet are you using
i assume local
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 05:51
so i have to enable the mining option too while running geth? did you mean that?
i'm running local node
using geth
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 05:52
that will be easier for you ..
they run in PoA so they are much faster
launching starts "mining" straight away
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 05:53
but i want to run full node, so i have to manage it own my own node.
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 05:53
sure but for development
this is better
also these are full nodes
but only one node
in PoA
consensus
once you are done, switch
these are the account(s) configured
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 05:55
but when i swtich the block number on my node will again be 0, thats why i've to set my own i think that if i'm not wrong.
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 05:55
oh.. to start mining in geth
do miner.start() in the console
or start with flag --miner
the batch files there show you already that start mining straight away
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 05:57
geth.exe --testnet --rpc --rpcapi eth,web3,personal,miner will do that trick ?
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 06:22
no..
you have not included the --mine setting
Michael van der Veeken
@mvdv
Jun 21 2018 06:24
Don't you want to set --etherbase as well?
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 06:26
^^ yeah if you don't want to default to the first account
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 07:12
by setting --mine flag gave me block number 375, and it started synchronization from start, will it sync again from scratch
?
web3.Eth.Blocks.GetBlockNumber.SendRequestAsync() returns block number 375, however the sync status returns 311604 as current block,
shouldn't the get block number return 311604 as block number?
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 08:11
you are syncing with the testnet
wait til is synced
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 08:12
yes, it was fully synced before, when i set the --mine flag it started from scratch again. Why?
and where there is a lot of difference between the values of GetblockNumber And get SynchStatus as
web3.Eth.Blocks.GetBlockNumber.SendRequestAsync() returns block number 375, however the sync status returns 311604 as current block,
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 08:14
is it fully synced now?
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 08:15
not yet. as it started from scratch again so it'll take time
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 08:15
well try later
although like i said for development
try your own testnet
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 08:16
i'm using my own testnet, i ran local node on geth
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 08:16
it takes literally 1 second to start the chain
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 08:16
how?
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 08:16
no you are connection to the testnet
that is not your own testnet
mainly you are syncing 311604 blocks
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 08:17
i'm using localhost:8545, isn't it my own testnet?
Juan Blanco
@juanfranblanco
Jun 21 2018 08:17
no.. that is your rpc
connection to your node that is running in your pc
Zeshan Virk
@zeshanvirk
Jun 21 2018 08:17
then how to run own testnet
Juan Blanco

new person question. the Nethereum test wallet - i'm trying to use the built in Send/Transfer funds button. On the mainnet - wallet has 0.01 eth in - trying to send 1000 wei - transaction hash not found (pops up on etherscan) - but then.. nothing.
